Do you report some sick crap you come across on youtube?

I have seen some sick shit on the net but what I saw today probably shocked me the most. I came across an obvious pedophiles youtube channel. No nudity but all his videos are of little kids in provocative outfits or dancing and a few appear to be kids getting examined. Also all his subscriptions are of kids videos.

Its like a bad law and order episode. I'm even sacred to log into my account and attempt to do anything as it may log me as looking at his profile. Also its obvious what the person is doing yet his channel is still up.

Anyone ever report something they saw on youtube? Should I let it go?

Never encountered any pedophilic material on Youtube, so I've never reported anything.

It's surprising that people would actually even attempt to do something like that.

I did report a video once, for a single frame it showed a close-up of a dude's penis. I don't think it ever got taken down though.

It was 60 year old man in his underwear, standing in a dark room where only he and a table were fully illuminated. on this table was a plate with a large sausage on it. the vid was like 2 minutes of him stuffing the thing in his mouth and sucking it, then putting it on a plate. then shoving it in his mouth, then putting it on a plate. then walking away from the plate for a few seconds, to only return to the plate and stuff the sausage back in his mouth.

i was extremely confused. what is the point of this really?

i didn't report, because as far as i could tell it wasn't against the youtube terms of service.

I had some porn saved to my favorites list a few months ago. The video tags were of the model and some unrelated stuff that likely wouldn't be sought after.

Too bad the dude's account got nuked because of it.

Absolutely not. I hate when people flag videos. I've been flagged for friggin copyright stuff for having 3 seconds of a song in a video. I would never do that to anyone else.

Even then I probably wouldn't report it. I would think the guy is a sicko but I don't report anything on youtube. Unless it was totally blatant, it probably wouldn't do anything anyway.

Well I looked at the reasons for flagging a video, I guess you could go with "suggestive but no nudity." Yeah but personally I wouldn't, I just don't think it's bad enough to warrant it.

I saw the film 9 Songs was on there once for several months. I just kept checking to see if someone would flag it

I remember watching this episode in the 80's as a kid and having no clue what to make of it. I think I found it more funny than sick because I had no concept of what child molestation was so I would have been in the same position Dudley was in. Ahhh, to be clueless with no internet or worries in the 80's.

That was obviously some weird stuff but pedophilia isn't a crime. If the content itself is not illegal than it doesn't matter how the person feels about it. Just like you don't have to be a pedophile to be punished for having CP. Its the content thats illegal.

I reported some neo-nazi channel I ran across through some commenter who wrote comments on a video of Beethoven's 9th (about how Beethoven was supposedly in favor of racism). I'm not sure whether it helped, does Youtube ban this kind of thing generally?

I've never really ran into anything sick on Youtube thankfully. I would report something if I thought it was sick and wrong though. As for the sound of that guys videos, he probably should be reported.

I'd probably only report CP or animal cruelty. That shit is not funny or amusing in any way. For anything else I wouldn't bother!

I actually feel a little left out, having not stumbled on any particularly sick videos on youtube.

I came across the same thing once on YouTube. I reported it immediately. Why wouldn't you do the same?
