Impossible. Activision doesn't have the legal rights to green light such a project by themselves. They would need both Microsoft and Nintendo's consent to do such a thing.Speedymanic said:HD port of the N64 version?

Not sure how reliable the site is so take with the relevant amount of salt.

Maybe, but I highly doubt it. A 007 logo on a press conference slide doesn't mean it anything to do with Goldeneye. It's like coming to the conclusion that we'll get a remake of Majora's Mask on the Wii U because Nintendo promised that we'd see Zelda on the thing.Nemesis556 said:Isn't it possible that this could be the XBLA remake? They would definitely have to rework it. If I remember correctly, you had to get to insane levels just to unlock all the modes.EatChildren said:It deserves it for its ho hum multiplayer, but the campaign is sublime, and as long as it's not a cheap upscaled port I'll be buying it again.
Is that real? They had a Raven Bond game and they cancelled it?Shiggy said:Could this be the new Raven Software game? They were said to be working on a James Bond game and their last one was cancelled (Raven had a James Bond 2010 in development, but then Bloodstone was delayed and delayed again).

I did not think I could become more annoyed at Kotick but he pulled it off.

GoldenEye has legendary gaming status. And it is well deserved. For the time-period, the game brought a great FPS engine, with great levels, and a great sound track to consoles. Hell, the game had a useful 'lean' button that allowed you to pop out & shoot long before the cover-mechanic was invented.JaskoX1 said:Why must they use the Goldeneye tag; plus with Bond 23 coming; we're sure to get a shitty game with that. Same here. Hope this pans out.Strider2K99 said:As someone who doesn't own a Wii, a PS3/360 version would please me. Been wanting to play this since hearing all the positive reviews and impressions.

Yeah and also the reason that a FINISHED version of Goldeneye HD XBLA was never released.Mockingbird said:I thought Nintendo was the reason why Golden can only be on a Nintendo console?

Is release scheduled for this year?
