‘FIFA 14’ (-22%) returns to the top claiming its 10th No1 crown since launch last year.

In doing so it also becomes the 11th title in an elite group to claim 10 weeks at the top on the All Formats Chart. It’s the 3rd FIFA title to achieve the feat and also the 6th by publisher EA to feature in the list. Activision’s ‘Call of Duty: Ghosts’ (-15%) returns to No2, ahead of the sole new entry in our Top 10 this week, Microsoft’s ‘Fable: Anniversary’ at No3. The title remastered in HD for Xbox 360 was first released almost 10 years ago on the original Xbox and includes ‘The Lost Chapters’ content. Its arrival also sees last week’s debutant and chart topper ‘Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition’ (-57%) pushed further down the chart to No4.

Warner’s ‘LEGO Marvel Super Heroes’ (-14%) holds its place at No5 just ahead of ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ (+54%), which jumps two places to No6 thanks largely to retailer promotions. ‘Battlefield 4’ (-26%) slides three places to No7 while ‘Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition’ (-7%) drops one place to No8. ‘Killzone: Shadow Fall’ (+5%) at No9 just edges ahead of ‘Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag’ (-31%) at No10.

How many copies did Fable Ann. sell if anyone has any figures? A little surprised it's the top seller in that chart, thought the later 2 games aren't well recieved unless it's GAF hyperbole.

Fable still sells around 3~ million throughout its product lifecycle. It's bundled quite a bit, but it's still a healthy brand.

Just not as critically loved compared to its WRPG peers from Bioware. Fable has always been somewhat low-key, since a lot of its product pitch never lived up to someone's promises.

I just compared Chart Track Results with Amazon Results Posted HERE
and i found that they are totally in reverse especially for XBO.. Wander if Titan Fall really turns out to be that big as it is shown in Amazon

FIFA 14 on XBOX was ranked 308 on Amazon but it position in Chart Track Individual Chart is 13.. highest of any XBO game.. and Assassin Creed on Amazon was ranked 126 but its position on chart track is 40.. the last one.. So its like reverse.. highest on Amazon is lowest on Chart Track and lowest on Amazon is highest on Chart Track...

Am i Clear?

MS needs to push those 360 gamers to XBO. GEARS/Halo does big numbers and has a strong following here, but thats far away. Titanfall + £30 pricedrop MS, do it!

Id say it bodes extremely well considering Amazon is so off the mark relative to compiled numbers. I mean look at this

Amazon numbers are only good for Amazon, not health of sales in general terms.

Because FIFA 14 is bundled with XB1 and these sales are included in the charts. And since it's bundled, its standalone version obviously doesn't sell that good.
And btw. you're comparing amazon-sales from today with UK-charts from last week.

I think the XBone is doing OK here in the UK. Sure, it's being overshadowed by the PS4, but it's still shifting a lot of software.

The 3DS is the head-scratcher. Best selling hardware last year and yet it barely troubles the charts at all. The attach rate must be abysmal over here.

Am glad to see GT6 keep charting as usual Gran Turismo games are slow burners sure GT6 might sell the least in the franchise but i think 8 million in 3 years are more than likely.

How many bundles are there.? are they still giving bundles.? i thought it was for the initial run...

No i m using Amazon listing of 8th Feb.. the final day of week.. So i think it covers the impact of all week. although we are still not sure how the hourly rating goes..

Anyway that was just for the killing of some free time.. Hope we can get more numbers and data to see the actual sales of games and hardware

Jokes aside, probably 5 million tops, and that's arguably only if there's a console price-cut + GT6 bundle over the next 2 years.

GT6 really should had been released a year earlier. As a franchise that relies so much on its long-legs, releasing during a next-gen console launch not only significantly dulled its launch, it really damaged its legs due to gamers wanting to go next-gen as soon as possible.

I think a lot of 3DS systems are bought with second hand/cheap DS software. You can'T buy a DS Lite or DSi anymore, so it makes perfect sense to go for that handheld instead while still playing the old games.

The 3DS attach rate (if we're to believe Nintendo figures) is normal for most handhelds, as far as Nintendo ones are concerned.

You haven't heard? People show what they want with their money, and its now time for a new generation of gamers to experience the best platformer released in the new generation so far if you look at the sales charts. Knack outshines all, yet again.

Not a single XBO gane in the top 10? Sounds about right.

In my shop we routinely sell out of PS4 games, Xbox One shelves are still crammed to the brim. It's quite stark, side by side.

They're planning on a new GT game next year supposedly. GT5 sold 5+ million in Europe, 5+ million outside of Europe, and the US&Japan sales seem a lot worse than last time.

No doubt GT6 will sell worse than GT5, however it is still a multi million selling game. If GT PSP can sell 4.2 million, GT6 can too and then some.

GT6 was not a too big of an update over 5 and took 3 years. GT7 will not come out in 2 years, unless it's not gonna be a cross gen, small upgrade over 6. I expect 7 to take several years and make full use of the PS4 power. Yamauchi meant with that statement either a GT6 Spec 2.0 PS4 port or a GT7 Prologue(even the PS3 got the GT5 Prologue in 2007).

I think transition to next gen is going to be pretty quick.. It is just a matter of new games to be available for them to dominate the top 40...
