The last few levels of Chaos Theory are surprisingly tough! Save scumming is the only way I can make any progress and it feels bad.

It's interesting playing the game after Blacklist and seeing just how tonally different they are. After Blacklist's ultra violent torture scenes, it's jarring seeing interrogations played for laughs. ("Are you gonna say monkey?") The soundtrack is also very unique, it's sad they dropped that style in later games.

This made me laugh. A lot.

Sam's had a real sense of humor back then .

I guess Gatling Gears has been removed from the store (6 minutes ago Removed store name – Gatling Gears). I'm not a fan of the EA account stuff, but I liked what I played of it. I should give the game another shot.
Silly indie bundles.

Thx

Speaking of framerate, I have been playing point-and-click adventure game "Lilly Looking Through" and the game seems to run slowly as if the framerate was really low. Is there a tool to assert this claim? Like Fraps maybe?

I personally use MSI afterburner.

When is toddhunter coming back?

Todd get banned?

They certainly aren't going to release personal information if people didn't agree to do so initially. Not supporting your fans is a horrible way to start out on Steam.

Not sure of the entire situation though, so I won't be commenting beyond this.

y'all should be ashamed

Wow, what a scam artist.

"No site has ever agreed to provide me that list and I'm unwilling to randomly give them thousands of keys."

You get keys free from Steam. You give them to the bundle people. They give out the keys. What in the world is so hard about something like that.

And then to say "Because of the new content and changes from the original game, Steam keys will not be given out for anyone who bought "Zombies."" is hilariously narrow minded.

I will never understand devs who quickly try to renege on their promises so they can squeeze a few extra bucks.

Was thinking of pre-ordering South Park: The Stick Of Truth but noticed on the store page that it doesn't have trading cards. Is that likely to be the case or does info like that only come out at release?

What's great, is that it'll end up losing him sales. :D

I didn't get the game in any of the bundles or special sales, but I was on the fence of buying it on Steam eventually. Not now, not with that behaviour.

Silly indie bundles, but great giveaway. Thanks for Painkiller: Black Edition. I can finally discover what all the love is for with this game.

This free weekend of CoD ghosts makes me really happy I didn't play it on release or get it later. I just don't have the time to become proficient at these types of games to enjoy myself anymore. Particularly when I am not good at console controls and go 360 controller.

i got it on pc for ~$20 from ebay around release. i play it on 360 with friends more then i do the "prettier" pc version. its my second least favorite cod game behind waw

I've got Project CARS and can confirm its drool worthy. If they continue adding to the content and tweaking the physics its gonna be fantastic.

Big Picture Mode keeps crashing on me after a while of playing, it'll just boot my game to desktop, tells me BPM experienced a "fatal error", and goes back to normal mode.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.

bwahah, yeah I guess it does!

Sorry for not crediting you earlier; I edited the post.

Eh, that's okay. I didn't bring it up for the credit.
This was too wtf to let pass.
Checked the Build a Bundle 4 page, and yep.

Edit: Oh wow.
Really? Blaming the sites?
Calling everyone that calls him out on this scumbags?
If it wasn't in his contract, he could have told them to change the graphic, like others have done.

There's also a new bundle bandits bundle, but after their fuckup with email account leakage, I don't like promoting them, so...

Lots of stuff to figure out though, already died twice within moments of starting. What is a good starting build? any suggestions? melee I think.

I started playing with a Dwarf Beserker, thinking that hitting things in the face shouldn't prove difficult. Turns out not everything has a face, or worse has more than one so it can take a while to learn the threats you'll face and how to build your character to meet them. After 20 or so deaths I decided playing blind wasn't working out and looked at some guides to get started. These should help out and the forum has a wealth of information too. When thinking about builds I found that checking what other players who were successful had used to be informative, the character vault can be searched for various builds here. Alchemist is another of the classes recommended for new players and what I'm playing just now. The Classes of Maj'eyal is a guide that may help with selecting a good class to start with, as you play you'll unlock many more through quest completion and defeating bosses etc.

ToME has mod support and an important point to note is that none will work on existing saves, you'll have to start a new game/character for them to work. Steam Workshop and the ToME forum both have addons to download, Somebody shut that dog up!, Tier-1 Short Circuit Option and Use Item Shortcuts are mods I use. I recommend the former as the yapping in towns is not only constant but disproportionately loud, there doesn't seem to be any levelling with the sounds in the game.

If you have chat enabled there are always people around to ask about something your unsure of which is great, everyone is very friendly. Ultimately the best way to start out is die horribly 3 feet from the starting area and take it from there.

Durn it, totally missed that Stronghold HD and Bridge-It were both bundled recently. If anyone has a spare copy of Stronghold HD and is willing to trade it for a TF2 or Dota key for it, PM me, cheers.

Beat Antichamber earlier today. Really good. Wasn't too thrilled at first being hopelessly lost, but once I got to the
green gun
I started getting into it. Some of the later puzzles were a bit too similar perhaps, but yeah, glad I picked up the bundle just for this one. Gonna try The Swapper next, heard good things about it. Also should go back to Toki Tori 2+ while I'm in a puzzling mood.

I guess it goes against the spirit of the game but Dear Esther could use a run button. I get what the game is going for but my god. I'm less inclined to explore the environment when it takes a quarter century to get back on the main path.

The Swapper is 15.32 times better than Antichamber, just for the atmosphere alone.
You're in for a treat.

The original mod was even slower, iirc.
