Honestly I don't think the threat of a ban deters people that much from saying things. Even if there was a no consequences day I still think most people wouldn't act much differently(outside of deliberate trolling) out of fear of the "social consequences" of saying certain things.(other members thinking less of them after the fact)

Yeah, I more or less can see this being the outcome.

A few wouldn't give a damn and might say some less than pleasing things, but most would still be demure out of fear of being judged later.

From personal experience on other sites, most people aren't so deterred by bans, they're more worried about other members singling them out and going against them.

Ancient GAF had a thread like that. It was even mod-approved, IIRC. I don't know if it was deleted or not, but someone gave me the link to it ages ago and I lost it. All I know is of its existence.

My other board has a hell weekend where if you donate to the board costs you get to ban folks, change names, post porn, etc. But we have been posting together for like 15 years and there is like 20 of us.

I apologize for my ignorant comments the other day. I didn't mean to come off the way I did. I enjoyed reading the responses in this thread towards what I wrote and I found your ideas for the next thread's title to be hilarious though.

After watching Twitch Plays Pokemon religiously for the past two weeks, I watched Pokemon Origins on YouTube and bought Fire Red off Amazon to relive the nostalgia.

Like when playing FTL and X-Com, naming Pokemon after GAFers is pretty amusing.

They added pokemon first seasom on Netflix. I swear they removed half of the filler episodes. Also it only goes up to Sabrina gym battle

and it has the GOAT cartoon theme song in my opinion. i hear that shit today and it still makes me want to be a pokemon master.

Netflix need to add Yu-Gi-Oh next, then my childhood be complete since they already have Digimon on there.

I hate typing on mobile because it moves/auto correct literally everything.

But yea goat season of pokemon was added Saturday morning. Woke up at like 1 with a hangover and renembered they added it and just watched that shit all hyped up. Like I said it seems a few episodes were removed because I remember there was waaay more filler between gym battles. Yugioh season 1 and 2 would be a perfect if they added it.

I was that kid that was playing Monster Rancher Battle Card on GBC and watching the show every Saturday morning while my friends were on Digimon World and all had the latest Digimon gigapets and what not. Probably explains why I chose Pokemon Y over X.

The last run of ghost rider was good from what I read it . I was more of a Vengance fanboy. Pretty much anything in the last 15 years Daredevil is good. Daredevil is one of those characters that the management let the writers do their thing and it turns out great. DC does the samething with Wonder Woman but it always turn out boring.
