Never forget.

You'd think people would have learned from Sony and the first Killzone game to never directly attack the competition. It ALWAYS comes back to bite you in the ass.

People thinking PS4 will play a lot of new games at 1080p/locked 60fps are out of their minds. It's not even easily achievable on PCs with much better hardware.

That's because there are infinite hardware combinations on PC. On PS4 there's only one, that's why devs can optimize their game better for consoles. On PC most don't even bother optimizing their games because a PC with good enough hardware can simply bruteforce good results.

What do you expect when Ubi is misleading people?

While I don't agree with bullshots and bulldemo, the only ones that have given up on them seem to be Sony. This isn't really a surprise anymore.

Buyer beware. And we should make it clear this sort of stuff is unacceptable.

But devs are damned either way. Look at the crap Evolution Studios has gotten for showing drive club in its alpha / beta condition. Personally I like seeing a game as is and how it improves, but so many will take that and run with it for their own agendas.

To be fair, Sony themselves had no part in that, nor did GG. It was the Euro press who dubbed Killzone 1 a "Halo killer" five minutes after it was announced.

People comparing it to Infamous or even Arkham Knight are a bit misguided.

It's a losing battle, friend. I'll eat crow if I'm wrong, but PS4/XBO/PC exclusive games will look and perform much better than these cross gen games. They have to cater to the userbase with the most consumers: the 360/PS3.

Everyone needs to give it time for these games to stop being made or for the PS4/XBO to be the lead platforms.

So cross gen games should never be compared to other games in the same genre? The difference between Arkham Knight and Watch Dogs is months, inFamous is coming out this month.

They can be, but it's unfair. Expectations should be in check, that's all.

I didn't saw you guys/girls complaining for other games but when WD is in question it is end of the world.

- We don't know on which platform it was recorded or even if it was recorded on any platform (they can capture gameplay in Game editor with custom settings).

- We dont know how old was the build

- In game weather conditions are not same

- E3 demo was on powerful PC etc.

And one last thing most of you enjoyed in GTA V but you didn't complain this much about that downgrade from first trailer.

Wait for game to be released than bash it how much you want when you have all facts and informations ;)

Infamous is a PS4 exclusive. Batman is next-gen exclusive. Watch Dogs is on both generations (5 consoles and PC). A bit of a difference in development.

If they'd have gone next-gen only it may have come much closer to matching the reveal.

This is one of those game's that only got attention because it was one of the first "next-gen" games to be revealed. When all is said and done, it will end up being an average title and mostly forgettable when the gen has run its course. If it were revealed after other more heavy hitting next-gen games, no one would care about it.

That's what happens when you show a PC game and then you try to fit in on a console.
...because it was actually a fully playable game in 2012. They just delayed it so they could downgrade it. The rest has been finished for two years.

While it certainly appears as though the game has gotten a downgrade, am I crazy for saying... let's wait until the game actually releases to properly judge it?

We're judging what they've shown us in this new trailer. And it's OK for us to do that.

Is this real? =(

Uh yeah? That's why people talk about unrealistic body standards.

I was mad confused because everybody is saying E3 2012 vs March 2014 for this GIF:

But it's the other way around, March 2014 vs E3 2012, right? Threw me off for a while there.

Best case scenario, I get another Sleeping Dogs from this.

Where is this magical land you live in where by playing this on a good rig, it will look even remotely like the initial reveal?

You crack me up. Do you think the reveal wasn't an actual game build being played too? Or do you think it was running from the real Titan (the supercomputer) stored in some back room? Perhaps it's both.
That reveal footage was definitely capable of being run on a PC. I have no doubts it was run on a regular PC.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong. Are you saying the final version just wont look like what was shown in the reveal? If that's the case then sure I can agree.

I vividly remember the OPM issue that covered the first KZ game having the words "Halo Killer!" slapped across the cover. I could be wrong though, I'm trying to look for it right now.

If it did, they were quoting the Euro press. I have a vivid memory too, the first announcement of Killzone was on a Euro website, and they used those words.

Someone needs to post a link to the video source of the gif, cause it sure as fuck isn't from the main trailer released today.
