So Kai Boo saga stuff:

The music will be new, not Kikuchi reuse. The music won't be composed by Takaki Hiroshi (Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans and Episode of Bardock).

Cha-La is so awesome that it doesn't need to make sense. Its the classic, the nostalgia, and the mother theme of all DBZ.

While, we are at it, its noteworthy to mention the awesome movie music like Astounding Big Fight and Ore Ga Yaranakya Dare Ga Yaru.

Dan Dan is best theme song.

Blue Velvet is best ending.

Sabitsuita Machine Gun is my fav from GT alongside Dan Dan. GT sucked except for its music selection.

Japanese rock band “Good Morning America” has announced via their official website that their new single “Dear Zarathustra” (拝啓、ツラツストラ; Haikei, Tsuratsusutora) will be the new ending theme song for Dragon Ball Kai as it picks back up for the Majin Buu arc. They do note that this theme will only be used for the first quarter of the story arc, indicating that there will be additional ending themes used as the arc progresses, similar to what was done with Dragon Ball GT.

Fuji TV has officially announced its new show line-up for the spring of 2014, including Dragon Ball Kai, the “refreshed” version of the Dragon Ball Z TV series originally created for its 20th anniversary in 2009. Along with the announcement, a brief listing of main staff and cast is provided. In addition to the main cast of Kai returning, some of the main cast from the Majin Buu arc of Z will be returning as well, including Kōzō Shioya as Majin Buu and Yūji Mitsuya as Kaiōshin.

However, as seen back in 2009 with Kai, some recasting will be occurring. Videl, originally played by Yūko Minaguchi in Z and most recently in the Battle of Gods film, will be portrayed by Shino Kakinuma, the wife of series veteran Toshio Furukawa (Piccolo). In addition, the role of Babidi will be portrayed by Bin Shimada instead of series narrator Jōji Yanami. There has been no official word yet about the casting of Dabra, Kibito, or other such minor characters.

There will also be a bit of a shakeup in the series’ staff. Most significantly, and due to the series’ musical controversy in 2011, the musical composition will be taken over by Norihito Sumitomo who most recently composed the score for Battle of Gods. Rounding out changes to the music department, Satoshi Motoyama will be joining veteran Yukio Nagasaki as audio director. Additionally, all three of the series’ producers will be new to the franchise, so it will be interesting to compare this to the adaptation of the previous story arcs. As expected, veteran series animator Tadayoshi Yamamuro is listed as lead animator for both the new opening and ending animations.

Yeah! Break! Care! Break! (English) is my favorite piece of opening or ending music from the entire franchise.

Dan Dan Kokoro isn't a bad choice either, and the English version by Vic is surprisingly awesome.

I never cared for the English Yeah! Break! Care! Break! Jerry Jewel is too flat with his singing in that one. Vic's Dan Dan is great though it desperately needs the original instruments to boost it up to the JP one.

The best opening for me is Dan Dan while the best ending belongs to Sabitsuita Machine Gun (JP).

We Gotta Power is the best anyways, so it doesn't really matter.

Pretty much. Though I do like this new OP a lot.

I think I actually liked Kai's 2nd ending over this new ending, and that one sounded like something out of a shojo anime and pretty out of place. It's probably due to the 3rd one having some meh animation and the song not being great. Yeah! Break! Care! Break! is still the best out of the Kai endings of course.

Would LOVE to watch this but at the moment I'm watching the original DB in Japanese and am about to start DBZ this week...will still be reading up on how this ends up though!

The new opening is really good and feels DBZ-ish.

The ending reminds me a lot of Naruto Shippuden's fifth opening.

Got a link?
