There are only 36 pictures until E3. Most of that will be reviewing things that were shown in the direct, and maybe adding bits of extra info about them.

I honestly want all of these, well I'd be fine with Pirate Ship not making it because that stage wasn't all that great. I really want a new stage for WWHD, maybe another flying stage that stops at different islands, or maybe a stage based on one island like Outset or Dragon Roost.Which retro stages do you want in the game now that we have Halberd and Jungle Japes(why??? :/) confirmed? I was quite let down with the ones we got in Brawl, so I really hope we get some better picks this time around, hopefully from SSB as well.
Here are the ones I want
SSB:
Hyrule Castle
Always loved playing this in the original. The house made for some chaotic moments, and the middle platforms added some great air battles to the stage.
Mushroom Kingdom
I don't know particularly why, but I've just always liked this stage a lot.
Saffron City
Awesome awesome stage. Full of possibilities to spike everywhere!
SSBM:
Great Bay
The lower platforms created some crazy battles.
Peach's Castle
Love this stage. Really interesting with a middle wall.
Mushroom Kingdom II
Simple stage, but cool theme and design.
SSBB:
Delfino Plaza
Not fond on flying stages but every stop in Delfino Plaza is just fine.
Pirate Ship
The very best chaos stage in brawl.
Other than these I also hope we get a new stage with the Great Fox.
I want Wario Ware back along with a Wario Ware 2 with different micro games during the fight, just get rid of invincibility as a random prize or make the prizes the same for everyone. Being the only guy to NOT get invincibility was a horrible experience.
Make the prizes like
1- Grow bigger ala super mushroom
2- Get 30~50% of your HP healed
Or have a punishment for those who don't get it like
1- Put into broken shield status
2- Knocked into the air like they were hit with the pow block
I need HD Delfino Plaza and Peach's castle.
The waterrrrrrrr
Will look exactly the same because they don't upgrade the graphics in classic stages.

Daily reminder. Tweet sakurai, NOA, NOE, NCL, and post on miiverse, letting nintendo know you want battlefield (or other similar improvements) for the 'FOR GLORY' mode before it's too late!
I'm using #BattlefieldForGlory, but you can use whatever you want. Just let it be known that final destination only isn't perfect.
Hey guys, today's my 30th birthday so you know what that means.Just found the best dream roster.
Runner-up
Delfino Plaza would look excellent in HD, even without updating the assets. The art direction in that stage will always look good. Great stage, and being so sunny it's a nice counterpart to the other Mario stage, Mario Galaxy.
Oh pooper.
Just bring back temple then.
That precise hitbox lol.

Oh BABY
I am so friggin hyped for SSB4 Pit.
Wow, looking back at my list, it was definitely influenced by recency bias.
I predict some Zeldio Joestar and Rosa Lumio Zeppeli tonight.
And someone will mention it and this has been talked about before, but posting it again. They have the best crouch walk animation out of everybody lol.
I love the stages concept but I rarely played it because of the reward system, last time I did play it I was "rewarded" with being turned big while my opponent got to be invincible, I'd have been better off with nothing.
I'd just tweak it for a small 15% health heal for microgame completion, enough to make things worthwhile without being too much.
The "Don't Move" Microgame was always a funny one with other players, I also had a CPU Marth just stand there taking Staryu's swift to the face in order to keep up his task of not moving, surprisingly despite being pushed all the way across the screen it did count as him staying still.
The amount of people on that site that refuse to take Sal's leaks into consideration because of some Babby's First Logistics blow my mind. I remember being in the Anna character thread reading an argument against it that hinged on the idea that WFT was an easy character to guess and the response to me (arguing the implausibility of getting both her AND a combination of Megaman, Mac & Villager correct) was "I'm sure you've read every roster prediction out there..."
That crouch walk alone makes me want to try her out at least once
Sorry, I'm fine with Tryhard mode as it is. "With friends" is where it's at anyways. With a potential 1000 friends on WiiU IIRC that's more than enough possible space for people who might want to play 4 Stock, No items.
Looking forward to the Chorus Men being confirmed and the same crazy people saying, "Pffft, it's not insider knowledge, anyone could've guessed that, just like with Wii Fit Trainer!"
How does the first point matter? We know they're not the same person (the leaker and Sal), and the leaker correctly picked those three characters. It's obviously not just a guess. Sal was just skeptical at first like the rest of us, and didn't want to post a "leak" with nothing to back it up.On the other hand, I feel like this thread puts way too much faith in this guy's "leaks" These three points in that smashboards thread are definitely important points to make:
1.He never stated he had a source until after the characters were revealed. It was a prediction up until that point.
2. He stated the characters were to be shown at E3, but the characters were not shown at Two c haracters have yet to be seen.
3. He stated a Pokemon from X and Y would be included instead of saying a specific character (Here, Greninja)
Not to mention that everything except for Wii Fit trainer is a very safe guess. Granted nobody saw WFT coming, but it's not like his other guesses were crazy by any means.
Being hypocritical here, but I just wish people would stop talking about the "leak."

If Chorus Men are confirmed, THAT'S when we should start really taking that leak seriously. 2 very unexpected characters on a leak being confirmed is definitely worth paying attention to.
The thing is, some other unexpected character could have been confirmed last E3, and all the fake leaks that had THAT character would be taken seriously and nobody would be looking at the Sal leak. Every fake-leak has that one character from left-field so that if they happen to be revealed, people will be more likely to believe the leak.
Those points are all incredibly stupid. (Not saying you're stupid, to be clear, but this line of logic)On the other hand, I feel like this thread puts way too much faith in this guy's "leaks" These three points in that smashboards thread are definitely important points to make:

Do you know the odds of making six "guesses" -- just six, when everyone else was making 30 or more -- and half of those six appearing the next day at E3? Do you know the odds of six guesses getting Villager, Mega Man AND Wii Fit Trainer right? Villager, who common wisdom said was ineligible, due to Sakurai's comments on Villager not working as a fighter? Mega Man, who common wisdom said wasn't topical enough due to Capcom's infamous mishandling/neglect of the character that was the topic in vogue at the time? And Wii Fit Trainer, who literally know one else suggested. Three out of SIX listed. Right before E3. A list of six, getting more right than lists of 30 to 100+.
"Pokémon from X and Y" is easy to explain. The leaker either is in a position to see characters but doesn't necessarily recognize all of them (a lot of people didn't recognize Greninja when he was revealed), or that's the case with the leaker's source. It's not rocket science. It's easy to see how this could happen.
Same with Mii, Pac-Man and Little Mac not appearing at E3. Internally, they could've been circulating those characters, perhaps even considering those characters in the run-up to E3. In the end, they showed Villager, MM and WFT. Each with their own piecemeal trailers, mind you, which makes it easy to see how they could've mixed and matched all of them and doled them out as they see fit, playing by ear what they showed at the big show.
At any rate, three out of six, right before E3. Three out of six. Right before E3. And Wii Fit Trainer. If you were making up bullshit and trying to appear clairvoyant, you wouldn't hedge your bets with only six guesses and make Wii Fit Trainer one of them.
This is a leak. Otherwise, it's the equivalent of taking a few guesses at the winning numbers of the lottery and winning the lottery several times over.
The leak said that they'd all be revealed at E3. Why is nobody seeming to remember that? The leak was wrong.
Temple is the shit! It would probably also be shit on the 3DS version...
No, the fact six and only six "guesses" were made right before E3, and Wii Fit Trainer was one of them (along with two others, but WFT in particular) is when we should've seriously paid attention to the leak.If Chorus Men are confirmed, THAT'S when we should start really taking that leak seriously. 2 very unexpected characters on a leak being confirmed is definitely worth paying attention to.
The thing is, some other unexpected character could have been confirmed last E3, and all the fake leaks that had THAT character would be taken seriously and nobody would be looking at the Sal leak. I'm not taking sides or anything but I remember reading somewhere that once the leak happened, they decided to hold back on revealing all of them. That's why we got only 3.
It's so obviously a leak it's painful. I believe they -were- going to be shown at E3, or the leaker saw materials for them but assumed all six were being prepped for E3. It's easy to see how that part could not pan out. It's NOT easy to see how someone could make six "guesses" and just get lucky with Wii Fit Trainer, let alone WFT, MM -and- Villager. That's what makes the lottery analogy apt -- someone made six guesses, which could've been any combination of hundreds of characters out there, and got more right than people guessing 30-100+ characters, and also were the only post to include Wii Fit Trainer. The odds of that being a guess are insanely low. There are so many reasons to see it's a leak and so few to suggest the contrary. The leak said that they'd all be revealed at E3. Why is nobody seeming to remember that? The leak was wrong.
EDIT: I'm not saying there's no way this isn't a leak, but I'm just tired of people treating it as near-gospel. Like the last paragraph in your post I quoted. 3 out of 6 characters...5 of which were all very safe guesses. NOT the equivalent of winning the lottery several times over. It could very easily have been one good guess.
"Oh, I was wrong! OBVIOUSLY they changed their mind once I spoiled their plans!"
It's easy for both sides of this argument to state their case, and such is the nature of these nefarious "leaks." It could be true, it could be not, we just don't know.
What we shouldn't do is act like leaks are confirmed until they're unconfirmed. That's just ridiculous.
For the most part yeah, but we don't know what kind of rewards there will be in the for glory mode. It might just be fun for tryhards, but maybe it helps with your 'smash score' or whatever it's called, and having a good one unlocks trophies. I dunno. We don't know yet. Until then, i'd like it to be kinda fair. The more competitive smash is, the longer legs it will have!
That crouch walk alone makes me want to try her out at least once
I guess this wasn't sunny enough for you?
Yeah, I'm hoping for a SM3DW stage.
No massive Temple like stages on 3DS please. It'd be awfully inconvenient on the smaller screen.
Hm, that's also true. Ah well, just tweeted to Nintendo_japan and sora_sakurai. In the worst case we'll get just tryhard mode, in the best case we get tryhard mode with more options ;P
