Great month for ps+ on ps3. I really wanted to play pes since I saw those insane animations on those gifs before release.

Yeah, and I think it's a great fit for PS Plus. I personally think the game is really fun while it lasts, but similar to many point-and-click adventures (I think that's the closest genre I could use to describe it) it's not that long and the replayability is somewhat limited, so I imagine some people have been hesitant to pay for it. Getting it for free will result in a lot more people giving a chance, which makes me happy as one of the developers behind the game.

Vita gets hella shafted. That is an incredibly weak lineup for the Vita.

I think PES on + is a huge oppurtunity for Konami, to show how capable their footy game is to the unbelievers.
Skullgirls is great, though i'd rather have it on PC.though I don't have $15 to spare.
I still think puppeteer should've been a launch PS4 game.

Played Limbo 4 years ago. Bought Puppeteer for $20 and still felt disappointed by it. No interest in anything else.
Europe got 2 great Vita games that have been on my radar for a while, and I would've been happy with even just one of them. Instead we get trash. This will be the first month since I got PS+ where I don't download anything.

Some people feel Sony is sticking it to the PS4 user with the slew of indie games on ps+.
I'll be honest and say ultimately I don't mind even though I don't really dig any of the ps+ games but when you take a look at the other platforms I gotta ask, why do we only get one on PS4?

I'll grab Stick it to the Man for when I eventually get a PS4. Nothing else for me really (already own Puppeteer), but I'm okay with basically a month off. I already feel like I'm drowning in games I want to play.

Didn't This month of april/march just have Arkham City, Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider, Thomas Was Alone, and more? Don't see how it's deteriorating...unless you're Vita only then lol.

I feel really dumb for buying Skullgirls now. Y'know, since I bought it at full price when it came out, played it literally less than I played the demo (maybe two or three hours total?), and never touched it again.

Was kinda interested in Stick It to the Man from the Giant Bomb quicklook, so I'm happy to get that (and maybe actually play it, unlike most of my PS+ acquisitions). Skullgirls would be pretty sweet too if I didn't already own it on Steam. Surge Deluxe looks like an interesting diversion, think it got decent reviews on GAF.
Probably won't ever play PES except for a laugh and already played Limbo on PC and no interest in replaying, but hey, why not.
EDIT: Oh right, Puppeteer. I own that game on disc. Played one level of it before I got distracted by other games. Ooops.

There's enough indie games to give 2 each month.
Since you asked: it's a 2d sidescrolling adventure game with some platforming elements. Focused on story and characters, lots of (good) voice acting, cool graphical style, great soundtrack. So was the Vita when it got Uncharted and Gravity Daze. Let's be frank, they aren't putting any retail games on it because they know they don't absolutely have to.

It has been for me on PS3 the past couple of months. Actually, mine is due to expire in May anyway and most of the games I have from Plus are games I have already played. Which is why I think I am just going to free up some HDD space and give it a rest for awhile. Thankfully, I can still play online on PS3 without the subscription.

As a new VIta owner you owe it to yourself to play Wipeout and Gravity Rush.
There's enough indie games to give 3 each month. That's not the point.
You guys are confusing the idea of giving value to a service with eliminating your entire profit margin. They could give away Thief too, but I doubt Eidos would want to take that deal (though, in hindsight, it probably would have been a good idea.)
There are indie devs out there that I'm sure would at least like to attempt to sell their game on it's own merits instead of taking the playstation payout, which we know is fair, but not mindblowing.
That and no publishers are taking that deal.
I bet Killzone's singleplayer will go up next month or the month after.

Puppeteer (PS3) - Have it. played it. Still gonna go for platinum. Really good game. Amazing 3D.
Skullgirls Encore (PS3) - Don't care for fighting game not named Streetfighter. =P
Pro Evo Soccer 2014 (PS3) - Brilliant! I haven't bought a football game in ages. Will get the World Cup DLC for sure.
Surge Deluxe (Vita) - Never heard of it. Is it good?

The system was over a year old (in Japan at least), when they launched Plus on Vita in late November of 2012. The PS4 is barely 6 months old.

Really horrible month for Vita, especially considering how good the EU Vita lineup is. Surge Deluxe is supposed to be good but its full price is only $5 and Limbo has been in numerous sales & bundles before this.
At least, this means that more people will play Puppeteer.
