Sony studious Japan won't work on a PC game. PS4 needs exclusives, this won't be a PC title.

If it is a joint effort of From Software + Sony's Japan Studio, don't ever expect it on PC.

The Japan Studio in the title refers to Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Studio.

Is there a reason any reason not to expect this on PC that I am missing? I am aware of the Sony rumors with Miyazaki's project, but those are merely rumors.

If Japan Studio is involved, that means Sony funds the game, and they own the IP, just like Demon's Souls.

Yeah, Sony wouldn't gain a shit from Demon's Souls 2 or other exclusive game co-developed with FromSoft. How could they become such a fool~

I would just be wary of people setting themselves up to expect a true Demon Souls 2 when this could end up being a completely different (but still potentially cool) game. I can already see it happening.

Personally I'm really fine with them not making a true Demon's Souls 2, but rather a spiritual successors. Those screenshots awfully remind me of Tower of Latria.

When Sony's busy making Not God Eater I'm not sure you can say things like that anymore.

Freedom Wars? The movement makes it seem like it's inspired by Attack on Titan. So, it at least has its own identity even though it has obvious similarities to God Eater. Which I guess isn't too surprising since I believe it's from the same developer.

Not quite sure why everyone is picking up on the title as possibly indicating that it won't be called something Souls related. Dark Souls 1 had a working title of Project Dark when it was first announced. This Project Beast title fits that mold.
