Input lag could be super detrimental to this game. Especially if it only is rendering at 30fps via remote play. How many frames behind at 30fps refresh speeds can we expect? Resogun isn't so easy on remote play either due to input lag.

I'd be totally okay with a somewhat modern twist on the Souls games. I mean, Demon's Souls was basically set in an otherwise livable kingdom being taken over by demons. I think they could pull off something like that set in a much later time.

I dunno, this looks so fake.

I had my doubts too, but if you look at the autumn leaves on the ground in that first screen. Same type as when the character fights some undead enemies in the other screen.

And it's the same character throughout all screens, wearing a hat and a red cape.



Imo, the only two things tieing it to souls are the fog gate and the "from software" logo.

The fog gate would be too hard to fake, as the character's torn cape is lit by light coming through it.

They are the antithesis of current game design trends and are brilliantly atmospheric and rewarding and don't treat you like an idiot... although they can go a bit far in the other direction and are too vague at times.

They demand your attention, rather than simply satiate it and when all is said and done, you will be rewarded with a sense of achievement, despite... well, it being a videogame and all.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, exclusive to Sony platforms that's for certain. But I could see this being a PS3 and PS4 game.
