900p@60fps would be awesome, but then the graphics wouldn't be that impressive. More like a 900p/60fps Halo 4 with better textures and better lighting?

IF it's more, it'll probably be minimal, like we're seeing with Titanfall and Watch Dogs.

Yeah I'm hopin it's Naomi. If it's Palmer or Cortana in a human body that would be a massive disappointment. Cortana should not be brought back as a human/robot.

Honestly, I'm not sure how I'd react if Cortana received an organic body. I can't exactly say I want it to happen, but I'm not entirely opposed to the idea. Depends on the execution, I guess. At the very least I think it would be interesting to see how 343i would go down that route. Very risky though

Also, you may want to brace yourself for that possibility becoming reality. Remember in the Librarian info drop, when she said the Forerunners tried to reverse the Composing process, only for it to end in failure every time? I feel like 343i wouldn't have had her say that if they didn't plan on having someone(Halsey?) perfect that in the future. I don't know, maybe I'm looking to much into it.

The only character that is as important as the Masterchief is probably Cortana. I don't think that they would put someone like Palmer on the cover.

With all do respect to you of course but your comment is nonsense, resolution does not mean the a game would not be graphically impressive, just look at many games from last gen that resolution was 720p and even today look absolutely brilliant, halo 5 will look great,
I'm sure of it and I don't even have an xbone

but I will when this comes out!

60fps is a lock, that's what they're targeting. It's way too early for them to know what resolution it'll be capable of running at smoothly. That's why they haven't announced it yet. These things get easier over time for developers so it should look better than what we have now.

Sorry bud..the chances of driver updates, or a new API allowing them to achieve the visuals you know they want AND 60fps...slim to none

All I'm saying is that 900p and 60fps means a lot of GPU utilization, and we have only around 1.3Tflops.

So I don't expect this game to be the best looking Xbox One game.

Doesn't have to be barebones (that's what the basically confirmed H2A is for), but things like flying around the place and turning invisible haven't exactly been so hot two times now. Personally, I'd rather see something new that works better for Halo.

Compare an Xbox 360 launch title with Halo 4. Big difference. Fidelity improves over time for sure.

Fidelity =/= resolution...Halo 4 looked better than 360 launch titles, there is no question...but they didn't increase resolution at the same time...

For instance...CoD Ghosts...not exactly the prom queen...but do you really expect them to more than DOUBLE the resolution, and improve the "fidelity" by a exceptional margin, all while maintaining a solid 60fps?

You're still getting a 1920x1080 frame buffer from The Order...with 140 black pixels on top and bottom...

1920x800 =/= 800p anyway...

Hopefully they listened to the community and got rid of the nonsense from Halo 4. I'm not sure if I'm willing to buy an Xbox One for a 343 Halo game.

I'll be excited when they show gameplay and looks and sounds like Halo. I hope to see everything changed from Halo 4; only then will I be happy.

Halsey improving Forerunner tech when we barely understand it? If 343i chooses that path it would be really dumb. Also the idea of Cortana getting a human/robot body is because 343i will most likely only use it to further the relationship between Cortana and the Chief, which was already extremely cheesy to begin with.

Dedicated servers for Halo multiplayer will be great.

I'm sure they will use the cloud for something else as well.

Only if people really don't understand that they're not meant to fill the same role as weapons.

I hope they've gotten rid of the DMR, and if they need single shot weapon, make Light Rifle that.
