Delicious. Only available in Czech Republic and I guess maybe the surrounding countries, 9700 km away.

Oh wait, I guess that's not a snack. Oh well, fuck the police.

A few from Australia that I miss

I would have said Vegemite, but Cost Plus World Market has it in the US, as does Amazon, but it's more expensive there.

but Arnott's Delta cream.

It looks like an Oreo but with a slightly less harsh chocolate taste.

Wagon wheels
a biscuit (cookie) with a layer of marshmallow, raspberry jam and covered in a thin layer of chocolate

most other Australians would say Tim-Tams, but i never really liked them.

Violet Crumble (honeycomb covered in chocolate),
violet-crumble-image.jpg

much better than shitty similar-but-not-the-same Crunchie

then there's Smarties (yes they might as well call them M&M's without the stenciling
smarties.jpg

or Jaffas. They are round chocolate balls covered in orange coating. You're supposed to roll them down the aisle at the movies

Samboy Barbecue chips (crisps). yes, chips are fries and chips are crisps and crisps are chips.

great, now I have to raid the tasteless Hershey's bars in my cupboard that were left over from Halloween.

More of a hypothetical, but I'm not sure how I could live without these if I ever lived somewhere where they weren't available. I know candies like these aren't really appreciated in a lot of places outside Finland (most people want candies to be really sweet, these are different).

"Turkish peppers"

These are kind of salty liqourice type hard candies with some slightly hot/spicy/salty powder inside. Sogood.jpg

I gave one of those to a US exchange student who was in Finland for a few months and she had to spit it out once the car stopped moving (it was a kind of mini-bus that didn't have windows you could open, just a sliding door that would have been somewhat dangerous to open while the car was moving). And then I send a couple of small bags of similar candies for her birthday a year later and apparently someone (might've been a parent, might've been some other relative of friend, don't remember anymore) asked if I was trying to poison them. :p

Not a snack, but I would slay entire cities for a slice of some Hungarian Pick Salami:

These are pretty popular in Norway as well.

I have been craving twinkies since I went to the US when I was 12. At the time I remember there just being something special about the sponge and the cream, that you just couldn't find anywhere else but inside a twinkie. So on Friday, I had a twinkie. It was terrible, my dreams were crushed.

But nothing will dampen my memories of my first delicious Tokyo Caramel Banana

There is truly nothing like it.

I love these, the gummy type as well. My Finnish friend buys them in bulk whenever he goes back home for a holiday. =)

Spuckies

Piantedosi's is the only place to get a real, honest-to-goodness Spucky.
Everywhere else it's just a "roll."

so good. can't find them in germany except for ridiculous prices (5€ a pack lol).

Keep an eye out for the British "Penguin". Might be easier to get hold of since you're only a few countries along, and they're very similar.

Edit: Ah, and here is a discussion of the differences!

A South-African thing, only place I know where to get it is eBay

It's appeared in the UK, at least.

What's the story?

Man, I remember there was this rumor back in highschool that it either shrunk your balls or lowered your sperm count significantly.

Never touched it again.

So moral of the story, highschool rumor machine is very effective and never find yourself on the wrong side of it.

I think there was a rumor about pepsi as well(probably by the coke fans) that said it put chemicals in your piss that would slowly burn a hole through your bladder
and your dick.

Never really made traction.

There's a link between male genitalia and soda pops, I just know it.

Anyways it tastes like 7up, if 7up decided to stark cranking itself with roids and cocaine.

I just love the taste of nearly all the flavours. Fuck Code Red though. I only get it once a year when I go on holidays to the US so maybe thats why I am not sick of it. Baja blast I'm coming for you, just hold on.

Oh and I got a laugh out of the person who said European Fanta. We have it in my store in Ireland and its just another drink but I would kill for the US radioactive orange Fanta or better yet glorious Grape Fanta (we don't have grape drinks here)

I feel so lucky to have a Japanese grocery store in my area. Isles and isles of Japanese candies, all for my purchasing.

Ballreich's Potato Chips. It's a local Ohio brand I grew up with. Can't get it in stores anywhere else, and is awesome. Not greasy, is crispy, and doesn't trick you into eating so many you want to puke.

I pick up a bag every time I visit my Dad. So good.

From my homeland: Irn Bru, black pudding, Lorne sausage and Haggis. The latter being illegal to import.

Wait, Haggis is illegal to consume/serve in the US or just illegal to import? I've had it in Canada (tasty as hell and not really weird at all).

As with many here, mine are the Kinder Eggs. I still remember 15 or so years ago a relative from out of the country suck them in for me and I was instantly hooked. Haven't tried them since, and being in the US, I can't even import them>

And yes I've eaten the regular Kinder Chocolate. But its just not the same without the toy dammit!

Fun fact about the cuberdons, they're a very local candy and the two biggest sellers have stands basically next to one another. If you pass them and slow your walk the merchants will start trash talking the other's product. Dudes have been feuding for a long ass time and recently had a physical confrontation.

Even that guy's slogan is a taunt as it say "The real Ghent noses".

Hey they have those in Little Tokyo here in LA, I personally am not a fan.

As for me:

Can't even import these babies. ;~;
Sucks we don't get kinder sorpresas in us. Good thing the toys suck nowadays. Most are just stupid one figure low quality toys.

Nice stuff. The Us gets arnotts Timtams they are just branded Arnotts biscuits. Ive had actual timtams from an Aussie friend who brought some over they are exactly the same.

Cuberdon - Belgian cone-shaped candy made with gum arabic and (usually) raspberry-flavored.

is this like those gushers candies we get here? Obviously this probably has different consistency but gushers are basically gum arabic and fruit syrup inside
