Wait, Haggis is illegal to consume/serve in the US or just illegal to import? I've had it in Canada (tasty as hell and not really weird at all).
Illegal to import. Unsurprisingly US made haggis is usually terribad.

im Chicago born and raised, but my mother lives in Pittsburgh, PA and there's a restaurant in the Strip District called Permanties and they're sandwiches are amazing. i can only get their sandwiches when i visit her in Pittsburgh, they're soooooo good. i count this as a snack lol.
Never here in Alabama anymore,
We have LiveWire here in Oregon. Apparently it is regional.
Nothing else even comes close.
This god-tierness right here. It's a snack in the Philippines. I haven't found a store in the UK that carries it, although I'm sure it's here somewhere...
Chips/crisps/whatever the fuck you call them, pale in comparison. There is no highly-processed salty snack on Erf that delivers the savouryness of Boy Bawang.
It's like eating a bag of toasted crunchy garlic cloves. 8 years of withdrawal... fuck I'm getting the garlic shakes again.
why not just buy these
it's the same stuff.
I can get them, but it's truly saddening that America
doesn't even know what these amazingly flavoured chips are.
Top tier Kinder product not mentioned so far:
Didn't even know these existed until a few days ago..
What kind of meat is typically used for this?

I'm lucky there's a peruvian restaurant in my town with a little store where I can buy Inca Cola & other stuff. My grandma sends me habas fritas & homemade alfajores twice a year.Peru:
Sublime
Helado de lucuma
Alfajores de manjar
Lucuma ice cream, guaraná and alfajores are NOT exclusive to Perú. We have them here in Chile, too! And they are in Argentina, Uruguay, Brasil, etc. As wellPeru:
Tuyo con Mani
Sublime
Nectarin Tutti Fruti
Kola Escocesa
Guarana
Helado de lucuma
Alfajores de manjar
Ughh, I miss these so much. We have them here to, but in Communist Canada they only come in ones and they're like $2 each. Fuck that, I want the 16 large bars
I miss these so much. They're from Kuwait, not sure if other Arab countries have them too. Shit is like heart attack in a bag.
http://www.quora.com/U-S-Air-Force/Where-can-I-get-American-style-bacon-in-JapanBut anyway...your best bet may be to try to make your own. Pork belly (butabara) is easy to get in Japan, and there are tons of recipes online for homemade bacon. Make dry cured bacon and make sure it's not too lean, for maximum crispiness after cooking.
Otherwise, try looking in department store food halls for locally produced (well in the Tokyo-Yokohama area the best cured meats seem to come from Kamakura, which is local enough) artisanal bacon. You won't find your familiar American brands, and the best bacon I have seen is sort of like German speck - it comes in chunks or is thick cut - but it tastes good and you can cut a chunk of it as thin as you like for maximum crispiness.
Drank this all the time in Australia. Why the hell won't Coca Cola bring this to the US?
And on a related note,
The King
So many people reading this are confused

is this like those gushers candies we get here? Obviously this probably has different consistency but gushers are basically gum arabic and fruit syrup inside
Nectar of the gods.
Might get some at the shops after work.

I have very fond memories of Kinder Eggs. Thank you thread, I have never known the actual name of the product.
The formal name is actually Kinder Surprise. That's irrelevant; everyone calls them Kinder Eggs.
I far prefer
... which, true to the thread, you can't get in New Zealand. I gulp the stuff down every chance I get when I'm in Australia, though.

Hey they have those in Little Tokyo here in LA, I personally am not a fan.
As for me:
Can't even import these babies. ;~;
Marabou chocolate is the best. The one with Daim is absolutely heavenlyWell it is rather annoying that IKEA in the UK stopped selling Marabou chocolate. Oh well, going back to Sweden this week so I'll just buy a few bars while I'm there.
I don't eat much chocolate these days and I'm trying to cut back on me biscuits. But as long as I can at least get Bourbons and Custard Creams I'll be fine.
What's premium about them?
