Went in last night with 4 games, they could not get them to work she kept trying for about 30 min. She put my paper work aside along with the gift cards and told me to come back today.

Went in today with the following, Killzone (PS4), Assassins Cread BF(PS4), Knack, Southpark SoT (ps3), GTA5 (360), Need for Speed (PS4) and Infamous SS. She did them all, came to $301.

Asked me if I wanted to put them all on one card, and I said yes. :( my mistake was that each time she swiped them the total went up. One card had $667, another had $266, and the last had $176. Had I just walked out I would of had $1100. But still got $301 for 7 games, not to bad, bummed I didn't walk away sooner lol.

Traded in AC4 and Infamous:SS for about $50 each, feels pretty good.

Funny thing is that AC4 was the "Gamestop Edition", which I was almost sure they were going to reject. I was expecting the transaction to fail when she went to scan the box, which surprisingly she never did. SUCESS!

Kid Icarus: Uprising comes in a cardboard box containing a smaller, regular 3DS box and a special 3DS stand to support the game while you play. I most definitely lost the box months ago and kept the stand. They didn't see/care about the "NOT FOR RESALE" text on the back, above the UPC (which they didn't scan).

As consolation for whoever buys it, I left all the trading cards in the box.

Weird, I just got back and traded in another Gamecube game and the server seemed to be up. The employee on the other hand must have been the brother of the Soup Nazi. I swear he pulled out a microscope to look for scratches on the disk, asking questions about the game working still, etc.

He finally gave me my credit though!

One last round tomorrow and I'll be set.

I traded in a lot of stuff foolishly for the GameStop 50% bonus.

Oh well targets trade in program is a nightmare I'll pass on this one.

I did get like $400 last year when they were giving $20-30 for random ps1 games for a few days. That was good.

If the system is down in one area is it that way nation wide? It was down for me on Mon and Tuesday and I can't get off earlier than 7 PM ;p. I dunno if I should even bother when driving home tonight since it is reported as being down (dunno if Texas area is down though).

Just got back an hour ago from Target. Had to wait like an hour because the Target mobile guy wasn't there and then there was somebody already there buying a phone.

Think I'll be going back in tomorrow to trade in GTA 5 and two other games. Not sure what yet

Coworker said he was going to target so I gave him NSMBU and Game and Wario. he sends me a text saying he got $20 for the both of them. Naturally I'm pissed, I wouldn't have traded either for just $10.

Am I boned?

I asked him to go back but he's being evasive.

Your friend is lying to you. NSMBU base value is 11.41 while Game and Warios base value is 9.33.

Or maybe the Target mobile guy didn't apply the triple trade in promotion

Yep. Receipt doesn't have the promo code on it, and they left for the night. I would assume that with the receipt, and the gift card I should be able to plea my case, right?

Hello all. A Target Mobile Manager here, as well as a long time member/lurker.

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this but we are locking in your quotes for 7 days now, instead of 24 hours.

So trade in now, it doesn't matter if the gift card system is having issues. Get the best value now and go back for your money later if you must.

Btw, whoever is telling you 3 trades per household/guest/forever is a fucking idiot. You can do multiple transactions in a day if you want to.

And by all means, take advantage and wreck our system. The more successful this deal is, the more often they will do it.

Thanks for clearing up some stuff.

Do I have a leg to stand on if I have the receipt that shows the employee did not apply the promo and the gift card is still not spent.

Right, but I'm not asking for the items back, just CORRECT compensation.

Yes, the trade can voided. Just don't use the gift card

Alright. Thanks for that!

Further edit: My friend was the one who traded it in, so it has his information. I'm assuming only he would be able to complete the fixed transaction, is that right?

Finally just traded in some games. Too bad they only let me do one transaction of three games. The guy was kind of a jerk, honestly, and he said that my three Gamecube games were "completely scratched up" - they're barely scuffed and the employee yesterday (at a different Target) was fine with them, and they run perfectly fine. Hopefully I can go to that other Target tomorrow to trade in the GCN games and get another $90.

$146 for Killer Is Dead, South Park, Kingdom Hearts HD, OOT3D, Animal Crossing 3DS, and Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. Damn good deal. They are assinine about scratches though. Barely, barely scratched and they wouldn't take two of my games.

added your post to the OP. thanks.

Hmm apparently you can trade the PS4 version of FFXIV for $30.

$30 for a useless disc and case. Yay!

isn't the disc useless without an activation code? doesn't whomever bought the game still need a disc to play?

The guy I traded in with said that the TIV are locked in for the rest of the week due to system issues. So no more worried about them lowering base prices.

After you use the code and register the code to MogStation you never need the disc anymore. It's just a coaster at that point. In this case though, a $30 coaster.

Does that mean I could buy it, register the code, trade it back in, and then have a copy of the game? Would I actually have to play the game? Don't have a PS4 only a PS3 lol

I'm confused. What do you mean the total went up? Why? Please explain

OK, I was able to do 5 games today and got $211-ish! They wouldn't let me do more than 3, so my sister did the other 2. I have some other games and may hit them up again before the promo ends if the TiV's are decent...

also, I bought some essentials w/ the credit, spent $103-something, and did not receive no $10 credit or anything. What gives? ;__;

Thinking about trading in on the 360 front is Black Ops 2, Titanfall, PvZ, Dark Souls 2, Street Fighter. On PS3 it'd be Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD, on 3DS it'd be Fire Emblem, Paper Mario, Pokemon X, and Animal Crossing (all my 3DS games).

That's everything eligible, and I get $295. That'd put me within reach of a next gen console. Should I go for it?

That is a lot of games, though.

I'd say go for it *IF* you feel like you've gotten as much enjoyment out of those titles as you can. I sold games I have already beaten/won't replay/am bored with. Selling for the sake of selling is unwise cause you might regret it later! So just take an inventory of what you could see yourself still playing and go from there. :)

None of those (outside of maybe UMvC3) are going to be difficult to find again if you're ever hungry to play them, so if they're not in use right now, strike while the iron's hot and stuff. (If you're concerned about losing the saves for any of your 3DS games, and you've put serious consideration into whether or not you'll actually revisit them, keep those, too.)

Just make sure you're actually getting a good price for them; some people have been trading in games en masse without noticing that some of the values they're getting, even after they've been tripled, are below what they'd go for at other places or on the secondary market.

I never replay anything because I'm so backlogged. Also I seem like a hoarder when it comes to games. I already beat super mario 3d world, don't see myself going back to dream drop distance, and I haven't beat donkey kong.

Do you think the Wii U games will be cheap later on so I could rebuy Mario and DK?

I got a lot of value out of all of them except FFX HD. Most likely won't trade in Marvel (I have the 360 version too) since it's getting rare as well. Maybe not on FF, but I can get it again later. Besides, they're offering as much as the game actually costs lol. Other than that, I'd say it's a good deal. I do want me some Halo 5. 3DS wise, played the crap out Fire Emblem. Bored in Sticker Star. And only today started a new save in Animal Crossing and don't feel motivated to play it. So I'm all good there, too.
