The other two characters look like total garbage but that is possibly my favorite design for Link ever.

It's a big part of the Musou series so it has to show up in some type of form I imagine.

I don't think Nintendo would want a mainline Zelda game releasing close to this, as the mainline title would absolutely destroy this games sales. Because of this, I image that, even though it was never likely, Zelda U is not a 2014 title, and since Nintendo rarely releases Zelda games outside of the holiday season Zelda U is most likely a 2015 holiday title and a whole extra year away. I've been of the mind-set that Zelda U will be a 2015 title for some time now, but any type of confirmation is still soul crushing.

Zelda U was never a 2014 title.

And Hyrule Warriors was announced last December, it couldn't have been released any sooner than this.

I haven't seen it pointed out in this thread (probably in another one) but Shia definitely looks to be another Sheikah. Her dark skin and white hair strongly suggest that. The fact that she has such a large mask makes me think there is going to be a reveal about her. Considering the feathers in both outfits I wouldn't be surprised if she's related to Impa. Maybe they're long lost sisters?

You know, I don't think Shia's cleavage or exposed skin is the problem I have with her, it's her outfit. Her outfit is not practical at all; the only purpose it serves is to accentuate her cleavage. The two TP characters who keep getting brought up as a means of a counterargument (Telma and Iza), both do indeed have a lot of cleavage, but neither of them fight or wear armor. Their clothes are just regular everyday clothes, as opposed to Shia whom is wearing armor that in no way could be practical in battle.

Why does her outfit have to be practical? Shia is a witch. She shouldn't fight physically but instead use spells. The armor that she does wear is probably purely cosmetic. Unlike Impa who is directly engaging in combat, Shia until now was not a combatant but simply balancing the Triforce. It would look weird if she was wearing armor.

Although, for DW I usually chalk it up to there being dozens of characters and only so many variations of ANCIENT CHINESE armor. Lately their female characters have been wearing distinctly un-Chinese clothes and are also dressed quite racy for the battlefield.

Sweet, Argorok is in the game. Though I hope some new enemies and bosses are created and not just a game filled with 'oh look its...' experiences. Would be a missed opportunity if this was nothing more than fan service.

Also, it's not practical in the sense that the two pieces of armor in front of her breasts would not be able to continuously hide the rest of them, based on the way they look; one step too quick and everything is slipping out. All my point boils down to is, at the very least couldn't they have given her some kind of bra or something?

It's a medieval fantasy world, not a modern one, why would bras even exist?

And both Japanese and Chinese warriors have a history of wearing flamboyant clothing (that might not otherwise be practical) to distract or terrify the enemy.
