Sony seems to be helping with the marketing for Destiny, so it might be one of those de facto exclusives like Call of Duty was on 360 last gen. Little hype right now but that game will be huge once it gets closer to release.

Or they're previewing it to remind us of the game, and will follow up with a press release saying to look forward to it in early 2015. Thereby getting the bad news out of the way so they don't need to talk about it at E3

I mean if they are able to show this stuff pre-E3, they must be clearing space for the BIG bombs. I fully expect a " Best of Playstation " remaster collection featuring no less then 15 old IP's reimagined in glorious HD.

I find your lack of faith disturbing

Sony isn't resting on Its laurels counting cash. If the PS4 is profitable, they will want to sell more. Therefore they need to put on a good show to clearly demonstrate why people should buy one. I'm already in the process of buying another for my living room. The other one is in my room. Point being, MS is in panic mode and is making a lot of noise like early PS3 Sony used to. I will wait for the receipts before we start saying MS is going to hand Sony a beating. Also, don't discount Gamescom's and TGS' importance to Sony. They will also make big announcements there as well.

That's what was said last year. MS even so proudly claims that they're gonna kill Sony, so much so that they have very little content unveiling left for post-E3.

If those games come out this year, which I'm not sure of, (The Witness gets occasional "progress updates," but it doesn't sound like anyone is in a rush to get it out, and I'm not sure I've heard anything about Rime since last E3) I'll be excited about them.

Please watch it. Except for very last bit at the end, the trailer is footage that likely won't be in the game.

I would hope, they have enough new games to show, to not stay too long on the games they showed 1 year ago. E3 are depressing when they are just the same every years due to endless dev time..

This is interesting. MS shows games they'd already announced and that somehow means that they must have a loaded E3 that's going to blow Sony away. Sony does the same and it means that their E3 is shit and MS is still going to blow them away.
