It's either that or it's about seeing the monsters. We haven't seen them yet mostly because of the fog and they appeared to be fast in the end of the first trailer.

I mean the time frame between the delay and the re-announcement, where its momentum and news output had completely died. I don't want to wait for soon, soon, in the coming weeks, soon again and I'm sure I'm not allone. :/

Yeah.

I'd argue the momentum for The Order has already taken a pretty bad hit. The first preview was a disappointment for many.

If they don't show something substantial today, or at least hint at it, then.... we'll always have Penny Dreadful?

I believe that we will get some new info from the previews and some gif worthy stuff. I can't wait.

I gotta say, with the exception of the summer, that looks pretty thin. I mean, there's plenty of third party stuff I'll be playing, but it's not a blockbuster looking holiday. Definitely hoping for an announcement of something exciting that makes it to this Holiday. The Order was the thing I was really excited about so bumping it out of that range would be a definite disappointment.

Hopefully RAD learned from their last marketing trailer. The original reveal trailer, from E3 2013, was fantastic. One of the best trailers of that E3. However the second trailer, from Feb 2014, was bizarrely bad. It focused on story bits combined with CGI that won't ever be in the game. They did release some gameplay footage, but only as B-roll footage and left it up to the gaming press to edit the footage and deliver commentary. As you would expect, the gaming press efforts were all over the place in terms of quality. So the general perception was that The Order: 1886 had very limited gameplay and was a basic corridor shooter from circa 2006.

Hopefully's today's reveal will help dispel some of the misconceptions.

I like to remind you that RAD has been very delicate and sneaky about actually showing this game, it makes you wonder why. Will this just end up being a Gears of Werewolves wrapped in this Victorian London realm?.

we already saw a bit of their "presentation" aspect full of QTE stuff mixed with scenes, that was just horrible you already know my infamous views on that.

If Sony really believed in this game, we would see gameplay before E3, but pretty sure they got a scripted "on stage demo" for E3, but will the Final game even deliver that, Last of Us didnt.

It is funny how after so many months, and what we know now. People still are able to say things like this lol.

That footage was 100% in-game dude. Get with the times!

I want some order gameplay. Small story mission, like they showed it for TLOU. But I think that they will save it for the E3.

Yeah, I'm sure we will, but until then, that is the 'official statement.'

Just like how the official statement for Driveclub was 'TBD' (from early 2014 initially) once it went into blackout, to the point they wouldn't even confirm a 2014 release.
