Does cross-gen mean that Microsoft aren't confident enough in the game succeeding only on XB1 that they need to release it to the large install base on 360 as well to make a profit? Just doesn't make sense otherwise.
It kind of dents the XB1 for me. I am looking forward to this and it could have sold an XB1 to me, so technically it could have been a system seller. If the XB1 version isn't massive step above the 360 version and is a solid port (kinda like Titanfall), then I'll buy it on 360 instead. I'm assuming I'm not the only one who's like this either.
MS better be bringing the goods at E3. Hopefully there truly is a lot more unannounced games coming and that these leaks aren't from games that were slated to be unveiled next week and were aimed at taking up a large amount of show time. There needs to be more than Sunset Overdrive and a bunch of Halo re-releases to make me buy one this year.

I find it hard to believe a lot of people would give MS crap for not releasing a game on 360, at least here on GAF.

Took a while, but Forza 5 is great now. They changed it a lot.
I don't know about that. There seems to be people in this thread excited about playing the game on the 360 that haven't bought a X1 yet.

Well maybe if it was an impressive next gen only Forza Horizon I would care. Regardless, I think it's clear why I'm posting in this thread, you're just annoyed because you disagree with my view. If you don't think my posts are suitable for the thread maybe you should PM a mod and let them decide.

I'm not surprised that Homefront and Mortal Kombat have been revealed, but I expected Microsoft to save Forza for their conference.

Similar case to Titanfall then. Hopefully we see the 360 version much earlier than a few days from launch like with TF.
If Playground can polish up the FM5 engine it could be a great looking game, especially if it maintains 60fps. However a drop to 30fps like the original could mean a better IQ, so it's fine either way.

I don't think they need big surprises, they just need good games. I am sure they have some secret stuff still planned but what has been announced/leaked so far looks pretty good!

Good on Phil for realizing this, I'm bracing for one hell of a press conference next Monday if they're announcing things like this and Halo 5 early.
They're running a business. It's end goal is to make money. Why miss out on tons of potential revenue from a platform that has more users than another?
