idk if this link is a girl or not, but what explanation is needed aside from the same explanation we get for why link looks roughly the same every game? reincarnation doesnt mean you reincarnate as the same gender every time. hell, it doesnt even mean you come back in roughly the same body.

Looks fucking stunning. Like Wind Waker on steroids, EXACTLY what I fantasized about. Almost brought a tear to my eye.

Wait, you really thought it'd come out together with Smash and just a couple months after another Zelda game (Hirule Warriors)?
Pray it doesn't slip to 2016 instead, we should be super happy if it hits holiday 2015

I hope they don't show it again till next E3. This was the most perfect tease.
The only good ones in that game are Link and Impa. I guess you can count Midna, but that's just her TP design, there wasn't much Team Ninja could do to fuck up her imp form.

I'm really not liking the way Link looks, the game is still far off though so maybe that will be changed. Everything else looks incredibly beautiful though.

At first I was kinda taken aback by his appearance but I actually think he looks pretty fucking awesome. Way better than he did in Skyward Sword, that's for damned sure. Is he maybe a bit too effeminate? Probably... but that's par for the course.
If I had known a Zelda game would look this good when I was a kid I would have literally shat my pants.

I thought that at first but then we get a better look at the face and it just looks more "Linky" to me. Lack of the Master Sword could be point in time for the trailer, like he's not even in the tunic and I think if it was Zelda or another Hylian they would make it more clear (longer hair, maybe a crown/tiara if it was Zelda).
Looks fucking fantastic though and if they deliver on the open world promise (and hopefully give you the option to skip or dramatically reduce tutorials) this could be a truly special Zelda.

Based on the fire effects from the attacks, I am so hyped to see what Death Mountain looks like in this game. I have such a soft spot in my heart for stylized/cel shaded fire effects.

I absolutely love the art style! It's close to something I had in mind for Zelda for a looong time. Like a dream coming true lol.
