You made a good choice, it's a good controller for sure! Apart from the shoulder buttons, and the fragile d-pad like you mentioned, it'll serve you well. I've been going with the Dualshock 4 hooked up through micro USB and I have no complaints yet, love the controller big time. The rubber on the sticks has made me paranoid, but haven't had a problem yet, and from my estimation, I've used the controller for a couple hundred hours by now. But they are both great controllers, especially for PC gaming, and great improvements over their predecessors.
You should had gotten this game instead!

More like From should fix PvP via a total overhaul. Not just the Arena. There's a ton of stupid shit in all the series' PvP. I can't really take those modes seriously.
On the converse: I really wish they'd give me the ability to turn PvP off and just leave Co-op. IMO the game(s) isn't really built for PvP

I haven't had any battery issues nor any rubber grip deterioration on my DS4. I have 0 compatability issues using SCP DS3 service.
While in Target the other night, as I was grabbing my steam wallet cards, I swung by the xbone kiosk just to try out the controller so I can finally give my opinion on it.
Surprise, surprise, I didn't like it. The L1/R1 shoulder bumpers still suck. And while I prefer the symmetrical analog placement, my biggest gripe about the sticks was the way they felt. I thought the comfort of them was worse than anything I've used recently including the "new" 360 controller I'm breaking in after trading in a bunch of 360 accessories when I got rid of my old RRoD consoles...
The one good thing is that the d-pad is pretty solid now, but I didn't think it was better than the dpads on the alternative controllers... but in the very least, this is a huge step up from the virtually unusable 360 dpad.
Also surprising was I thought it felt really small. I'm surprised anyone who "has big hands" likes them at all, because I felt like my small to medium hands were cramped on it. :|
Funny enough, beyond all that, I still generally stick with using my DS3. Then, depending on the game/day, I will use a DS4. I have gotten to the point where I unplugged my 360 dongle because I never use it.
Strangely enough, even if the redemption page loads a little slower, at least redeeming a code there doesn't freeze the client.

In my experience, registering a key only freezes up the client when it's the first attempt of a given instance or if there are server issues and you have to wait for Steam to time out.
Beat one more and you're good to go.

I think the Xbone controller is 100% better than the X360 pad... besides the dumb bumpers.
Such a round number.
Sadly it won't last much longer as I'll probably wind up finishing Fable: TLC... but it and AssCreed Unity will make two. Watch Dogs is a maybe at the moment as I'm waiting for the stuttering to go away.
The game proper, yeah. Freedom Cry was early this year, but it wasn't the standalone version, so I'd argue it doesn't really count.

I stopped playing New Leaf all together when one of my cunt friends who I invited to town stole Wolfgang from me, I'd had him in every Animal Crossing game ;-;
I'd like to know what Capcom is doing with DMC. The patch is the first one in over year and it's been in the works for at least a month, which usually suggests something is being replaced with Steamworks, but DMC doesn't use anything else as far as I'm aware.
Just think about it: if you weren't, you wouldn't be frustrated right now.
