PS3 in all its models

The thing about the original PS3 is that they always show it from angles that omit the rectangular box-base on the bottom or stand it vertically and shoot it from a slimming angle.

I love my 60GB Ps3, but it's an awkward rounded monolith of a machine.

I still like the 3DS even though its design has caused so much confusion.

Yeah, the 3DS and DS Lite are more examples where every element of the machine has a function with no wasted space. The one thing I don't like about the 3DS is the frame around the bottom screen (which incidentally scratches the top screen when closed).

The superslim is one of the ugliest consoles ever. Looks like an oversized glasses case. I like the OG and slim designs though.

I am partial to the Dreamcast, though the Wii looks very nice, too. Can't really decide which one takes the cake. There's really only few consoles whose look I don't like (one of them being the PS3 superslim).

My number one console would be the Dreamcast, so much power for the time in such a small package, no power brick either. Also a fan of the first PS3 slim. Handheld wise the DS Lite, simple design and I didn't have to worry about screens/bezels scratching one another when it was pocketed.

The Game Cube. Such a unique design.

Also vertical black Wii. Looks very elegant and simple yet, very attractive. Glad the Wii U console design is similar. PS4 looks very nice as well.

thought this was known (just needs HIGH DEFINITION GRAPHICS logo)

I remember being in Kindergarten playing Sonic, Ristar, Flicky, DeCap-Attack etc.. on my friend's Genesis whenever I slept over. That headphone jack and hardware volume control were such a beautiful addition for late night secret gaming.

Sony PS3 Slim - Not really fond of the fat or the super slim.

Sega Genesis Mark 1 - Despite the age, it still looks good to me.

I love quirky and odd Nintendo consoles. The N64 looks like a tank, and the controller ports are easily seen. The Gamecube is so damn small, its essentially a tiny cube tank.

PS4 for me. I never liked Sony console designs before it, but it looks so classy.

On a similar note, the Vita when it comes to handhelds. The PSP looked a bit off, but the Vita perfected its design.

The Wii was pretty sleek too, and I kinda like the original 360.

First reply spot on as per usual.

Also, white consoles look amazing in promo shots, but black looks a lot better in RL imo. Doesn't clash with your lounge room either.

Dreamcast was the first thing that popped to mind for me as well. Dem curves.

However, doesn't the ugly controller count against it?

My vote = Vita slim

I was always partial to the japanese Saturn. Aesthetically it might have been beaten by some of the 7th generation consoles, but it is the pinacle of the "old" console look (basically a square where you put the game in the middle).

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
PS2 Slim is still the most sleekest sexiest piece of hardware ever. Its so slim it can practically fit in everywhere, and the heat problem is non existent. I've used mine in really small spaces for almost 8 years and its still going strong.
