I'm kinda surprised 101 wasn't one, since that needs more exposure and would help hype people for Bayo 1 & 2.

Bayo 1 isn't even out so why make it free now AND that takes away from Bayo 2's value as every copy comes with it free anyway.

you'll sacrifice framerate and get decent button controllers. There's also extra levels, but nothing special.

if you already finished it on Wii and didn't have problems with the controls, I say it's not worthy.

Was going to go for Game & Wario just for the points but I only need 111 pts in order to get another $5 voucher. I had to settle for Wii Party U when I got Mario Kart 8 because I had the other games already. I really don't want to do that this time. Hell I haven't even played Wii Party U after downloading it. I enjoyed Nintendo Land but by all accounts I've heard it and Wii Party U are simply far better mini-game collections with more single player content then Game & Wario. So think I'm going to pass.

I have a number of the gold games on the 3DS as an ambassador. Got a WarioWare game due to that as well. Have DKCR Wii and Rolling Western already. So really I only have Dr. Luigi and NES Remix to pick from. Can pick up Earthbound with the credit I get.

Just how big of a game is NES Remix in terms of levels and replayability?

Do people still playing Dr. Luigi online?

I went with Game & Wario. Only have played the multiplayer so far, but Sketch was found to be hilarious, and almost worth the game all on its own. Fruit was good too. Disco was the only dud for us.

I'll get to Single Player at some point. I'm playing through Super Luigi U for the first time right now.

If you're a big Dr. Mario fan, Dr. Luigi is a good purchase. Otherwise, I think NES Remix is a terrific game offering plenty of content and replayability if you like NES games and getting high scores/attaining high skill level in miniature versions of the games.

Not really, while the Wii version is superior with its 60 FPS, portability and lack of motions controls are great.

I had no problems with the motion control, but I had more fun with the 3DS version.

Has anyone else had connection errors trying to download DK:CR 3ds? The download keeps failing for me and choosing to download later doesn't work it'll just stay at 0%. I figured it's the servers getting hit hard, but I've been trying for the last few days now with the same result. I've tried deleting and re-downloading other games and there are no issues with them so it seems it's only with DK:CR.

Maybe they're region locking you through the CN site? If you don't have anyone to help you out I can try to log into you account and redeem DKCR for you. Send me a PM if you want me to try.

No .. i am having the same problem with my USA club nintendo account that got gold.

My Canadian club nintendo account that got platinum had no problem redeeming Game & Wario

I live in south america

But they might just be region-locking US accounts to the US if they expect Canadian accounts to be outside the US and aren't paying attention to those.

A friend of mine redeemed his award from Cuba, so I can assure you it's not some strange case of region locking since Cuba would be the first country to be blocked. His account is from the US.

If the expiration date gets closer and you still haven't had any luck, maybe you should really consider having someone redeem the code for you, like others have said. I'd gladly try to help, if it comes to that.

Maybe it's just people they have suspicions of not being in NA for certain reasons that raised red flags, so now they want to force those people to try to contact them to try to catch them out . . . or knowing Club Nintendo it could just be random bad luck that your redemption got glitched and you're in the unlucky position of not being able to contact them.

The one bad thing about the rewards being digital is even if you do get away with redeeming them outside NA for now, if they do eventually discover you're not in NA they can potentially revoke all your digital rewards like they did to the people that took advantage of the Fire Emblem/SMT4 promo twice. At least with the physical rewards they had no way to revoke them once they were sent out, even if it was a large burden to find a way to get them outside of NA.

I've got 1K coins and Platinum status for my Club Nintendo. Literally don't want any of it, so if someone wants to trade some eShop money or something for a game off the shop I'd be down. Really want to get Mario Tennis (GBC) or perhaps some PS fun-bucks for some games for my PS4. If anyone's interested send me a PM.

There's a download code expiration. You have until Sept 30 to redeem it.

I picked up Game & Wario and have been having a ton of fun with the multiplayer. Would have maybe been disappointed if I spent money on it, but for free it's great.

Had the exact same problem for days. Then on a whim I opened the Club Nintendo site on my phone using Chrome and logged in to my account. It worked! I got my code.

Same. Good for a week with some friends, but I would have been furious paying any sort of cash for it.

In a way, I guess we kinda did, since we had to spend money to make coins...

I went ahead and grabbed Dillon from this last night. So far I'm not a huge fan. It feels like the stylus is being forced for things that would be better served by tapping or holding a button (advancing dialog and charging roll). The combat feels like sort of a chore so far; I just rolling into the rock guys repeatedly. Rolling in general also feels like it's kinda slow.

I'm still within the first ten minutes though, so I'm looking forward to checking out the game more. Like most games, I'm guessing it gets better. Either way, it's an interesting one for sure. I'm really glad I went with this instead of DKCR or one of the VC games. Going with something that's totally new to me is more exciting than all the safe bets.

Isn't that just for the MK8 promo? I think it's just the special promos where they give you an expiration date, because the monthly game redemptions have never had them, and it would be unkind for the elite rewards that we normally don't even get till December.

Now that you mentioned it. I thought this was MK8 promo! Sorry! Yeah, you are right. There's no expiration for these prizes.

Playing through DKCR. It looks great but there are parts where a bigger screen would've been handy (in terms of zooming out/areas behind the stage).

If you're having trouble redeeming, clear cookies or use a different browser.

Yeah, that's true particularly in one level later on you may not have encountered just yet. Still, an amazing port all-around.

Just found out Nintendo is releasing a physical version of NES Remix 1 + 2, which makes my Platinum decision to get NES Remix 1 wasted.

I still haven't used the code, do you think there is any chance for them to exchange it for another choice?

I'm hoping for a sale like EU got where if you have one, you can get the other one for 50% off or something. That'd make it a little better...

picked up dk 3d. played a bit on a road trip over the weekend, pretty fantastic the 30 fps kinda sucks, but what they've pulled off on the 3ds is impressive. i've liked all the levels so far , but that tidal terror lvl is really sick (specially in 3d) and feels hella fresh which is nice.

I picked up DKCR 3D as well. Barely scratched the surface on it, but it seems pretty good. I only 100%'d the first DKCR not too long ago, so it's probably too soon for another playthrough (and I still have TF to play). But, good to know it'll be there for later. :)

Not sure what level you're referring to but I just passed the Cave world with all the
minecarts and a boss on a train. Made me want to throw my 3DS at a wall.
