With the use of the word overhauled does that mean this will have things the PC version didn't? Such as assests, loading times, AI?
From that video teh most notably thng is the cutting of loading times and instead made it seamless sticched together areas, sounds neat.

How the fucktits did they lock these games at 60fps on the consoles with visuals like that? Both of my friends have had trouble with this game in regards to a consistent framerate on their PC's.

Yes, both games have stuff the original releases didn't, most notably the entirety of 2033 being moved over to the most recent revision of their engine which is a significant improvement performance-wise too. That is why they are releasing them on PC again.

I preordered both the moment you could on Steam. The 2033 overhaul in particular looks AMAZING.
Wow. I think I might have to pick up the Redux of 2033 too, instead of just Last Light. Looks like they put a whole lot of work into that.
Shame that they didn't touch on the audio, and by the sound of it - it doesn't look like much has changed on that front. The audio was never on par with the rest of the presentation of those games.

Care to elaborate the differences among "Spartan" and "Survival" compared to "Ranger"?
Also, have you managed to update the subtitles? I so want to play it again on Russian, but subtitles were killing me (visually, the font and placement were somehow very inconvinient) in both 2033 and Last Light.
So looking forward to this, all my friends are in the hype mode for Redux.

How much is a "little less demanding", considering benchmarks show a 7850 managing ~30 FPS at very high settings? 1080p / 60 FPS is the target, right?
Seems like a big trophy list, especially for 2033.
It applies to both games and I believe it's 1080p on the PS4 and 900p on the X1 but they were targeting 1080p.

Spartan and Survival are difficulties, Ranger is a modifier you can add to any difficulty that adds more realism to the game like no hud, less ammo, higher damage from guns to and from you.

Really looking forward to 2033 Redux. I like 2033 more than Last Light atmosphere wise but the gameplay is a lot clunkier than Last Light so it'll be nice to have the best of both

Yeah, but in 2033 (never tried it in LL), the subs only covered the main plot dialogue - nothing else, and I mean NOTHING else was subbed. You missed a lot of good material because of that.
It's always been one of my chief complaints about the series.

Yeah, regardless of the result seems pretty obvious they put a lot of effort in improving things all around.
Merging separate segments in unique levels strikes me as particularly impressive.
