Captain Falcon has no projectiles. He is a close-range fast brawler, parallel to F-Zero and it's gameplay, is as close as you are gonna get.

I know some people who got into several Nintendo franchises because they bought Brawl for Snake.

Personally, Brawl was what got me into MGS, so I really appreciated Snake's inclusion. He quickly became my favorite video game character, only behind Wario. Seeing my two favorite characters that are completely unrelated in every way playable in the same game is a pretty amazing thing to me. I expected him to be gone this time around, but it's a real bummer.

Let me tell you about Advance wars, it's a strategy game in which you command generic units to do stuff, the actual characters have nothing to do with the gameplay besides giving buffs.
For smash you could make whatever shit up as long as its something something military.
And making shit up is not unprecedented in smash (look at the captain).

I'm not against making things up (even though having Fox grabbing to his Arwing like Snake does with the Cyper or like Sami would do with the Copter seems pretty stupid) I'm against characters taking another character moveset just because.

I do think it was odd seeing a bunch of advertisements for a PS3 game in Brawl. Ideally, Snake should have come with stages, music, and trophies pulled from MGS's Nintendo history. No Gekkos.

However, Snake is probably cut. Shame, I value all unique the movesets in this series. That moveset will be easy to copy and paste onto another character so that's what I'm hoping for. It won't be quite the same if it's not him, but at least we will still have that moveset.

How big is Revelations and Metal Gear Solid 3?

Revelations is 3.30 GB; it was the largest game on the eShop until Bravely Default came along with 3.39 GB.

I love Advance Wars, but I don't want Sami to inherit Snake's moveset for several reasons, even if he is cut.

For one, it just doesn't seem fitting for Advance Wars. I always thought if an AW character got in, a sort of summon or pet character archetype would be more fitting, in which the character could summon units to aid in battle. Well, that's the gist of it basically, dunno how it'd work. Eitherway, Snake's moveset is more designed around being patient and sneaky in laying your traps and also camping to get the advantage. That really screams MGS to me. Isn't the reason Snake is so heavy in Smash is because MGS has heavy controls, as well?

I also don't think it'd be a good substitute for Snake, unless the moveset isn't tweaked much, but I can't imagine Sami being heavy, powerful and slow. Advance Wars deserves better than a borrowed moveset, anyway.

Yep, I would like to see Advance Ward summoner where they can summon tanks, helicopter, etc.

Snake was my main, and without him it looks like I'm back to Game & Watch fulltime. I'm still holding out for DLC or some kind of surprise, but if its true it is a big shame to lose such a great addition to the roster.

All I can think of when considering Capcom on 3DS/Wii U are the Monster Hunter, Resident Evil franchises and the Street Fighter 4 Port. (Plus the VC titles too I guess).

I'll give you Sega and Bandai Namco though. To be fair, Konami still supports the 3DS so it's not like they're completely abandoning Nintendo.

Capcom also had Wii U eShop games (Ducktales, D&D) and a bunch of other 3DS stuff (Ace Attorney, EX Troopers, Gaist Crusher, etc). Even if it was only Monster Hunter though, that'd be a huge deal.

Sakurai should put Rathalos in Smash 4.

Also, shocked at all the Snake hate; his play style was unique and made for some great fights. I'm still holding out that this is unfinished: We have 100% seen Rayman's trophy on the 3DS, and even if Ness & Lucas are both cut, we already know Mr. Saturn & the Franklin Badge're back as well. Maybe cameos like Rayman don't get full credit, but Mother's already got enough to justify APE being on the box. But I'm not expecting Snake.

I'd live to see him as DLC, though!

I dont want Snake in, since they refused to put out MGSV or ground zeroes on WiiU, they had no excuse, power wasnt an issue since they are both on or coming to PS3 and 360.
And you cant say sales, since they were announced for Xbox one and PS4 before they were out and Xbox one will sale like crap in Japan and WiiU is out saling PS4 in Japan 2-1.

As a huge Nintendo fan and a huge MG fan, seeing this stuff has always just made me very sad.

Anyway, although I do think there's a good possibility he'll be cut, I don't think this proves it.
