Solid snake, yes, but why ridley? How is he any different from Bowser, as far as ESRB is concerned?

You get used to the slow drip, someone finally gives you a big sip of the smash kool aid, and then they take it back to slow drip. Not fair :)

If that were true then that would mean Ridley wouldn't be in as a stage boss or a trophy.
So no, the fact that we haven't seen Ridley yet doesn't really mean anything.

At this point, he can't. He got off easily with Gematsu, being able to surprise us with the Shulk trailer. And he could still surprise us by showing off one of the other characters not in this leak. But this leak's confirmed at this point. No point in waiting to make it official.

That's a big IF only because there's no concrete evidence that snake affected the rating. Though their chances to be in this game at this point are low. DLC is where all my hope lies. Even though I want to believe.

I was already very sattisfied with the newcomers, but super excited about Shulk since he ended up being the only one of my most wanted that actually got in.

The roster is excellent, and it looks like there are a ton of fun side modes. The stage selection is pretty disappointing, though; here's hoping there are more new stages that haven't been unlocked in this leak

Stage boss ridley is only on Wii U as far as we know, so no need to rate him for 3DS game.

That said, it's very likely he's a trophy on 3DS.

I rather love the roster. Even if Duck Hunt, Dr. Mario, Dark Pit, Bowser Jr., and Shulk were the last ones, I'd be pretty happy (minus the absence of a Rhythm Heaven character). I'm really pulling for the Mewtwo/Dixie/RH character hint to be true.

Same arguably goes for Mach Rider, quite frankly.

Remember, we already got an updated re-design in Melee as a Trophy. If he's in the game, he'll most likely be very close to this iteration, and even in the original game he primarily uses a machine gun in his arsenal of weaponry.

Everything aside from the lack of snake and cuts once again is looking good.

If they can bring back the cuts as DLC. Then this game is perfect for me with what's there and not asking for newcomers.

Yes. It would be interesting if a statement is made about this from either party. I mean this is pretty big since Nintendo is infamous for being pretty watertight when it comes to leaks.

wow we could have just right clicked that image and got the url removed the i. and the .jpg and we would have found that with out ever decoding the code.


i still believe all star more though. but it doesnt matter mewtwo pls :D

The leakers probably know that there are more characters due to the locked All-Star mode and empty spaces on the select screen, but I don’t think any of them actually know who the final characters are. They’re probably just having fun at our expense.

The new Devil Car marks yet another Smash Run enemy that belongs to a represented franchise, so I’m still holding out hope that Ice Climbers and Chorus Kids are playable. Maybe they weren’t available in the build used to make the ESRB video reel because they weren’t finished yet.

What Sakurai could start doing is showing off things not mentioned. Revealing Ice Climbers, for example, would provide us with proof there's more content in the game than this leak. Even alt costumes like Alph would be great and still keep PoTDs interesting. Junk like what we got today need to stop.

He could just be saying the ice climbers etc. dlc is fake. Also, the Reddit post says "going by earlier leaks." What earlier leaks? Finally, he leaves Chorus Men out of the imgur leak, unlike the Reddit thread.

I think the space between sentences on the imgur leak is wide enough for us to simply assume the leaker doesn't like punctuation, not that it's one huge sentence.

That said, I don't know what to believe anymore.

I agreed. So far, it's amazing roster but getting those characters through dlc would make it much better.
