PEGI has really stepped up their harshness recently in ratings.

Phoenix Wright went from a 7+ to a 16+.
Trauma Center from 7+ to 12+
Sims 2 from 7+ to 12+
Zelda from 3+ to 12+

All by the same ratings board.

I saw that too. People saying that the moves were too similar. I saw someone say this is fake because the trophy descriptions weren't high quality and another one more or less saying "lol ESRB" who then proceeds to say something about Master Chief for some reason

I'm reading through the thread and my god what has happened. I sleep for 6 hours and the world explodes with leaks, fake renders, lies, and deceit. Smash-Gaf could be an Emmy award-winning drama with this emotional roller coaster of a ride.

Yea, I don't think they'd have to show IC or CK, as there's nothing objectionable about them

I love the new characters, but without Ice Climbers the roster just isn't going to feel complete to me. They've been Smash staples for 13 years, and I really enjoy playing as them. Wolf was also one of my most used Brawl characters, so his exclusion hurts.

Duck Hunt is a character I've wanted for a long time (I included him on one of my old dream rosters, complete with nonsensical "Duck Hunt" name), but I never thought it would happen. I suspect it'll be one of my favorite characters.

I also included Bowser Jr. on some of my rosters, but I imagined he would be a Bowser semi-clone at best. The Clown Car move set is incredible, and it represents an aspect of the Mario series that's been neglected in the Smash Bros. roster -- mechs, gadgets, weapons, and everything else associated with Mario bosses.

I don't particularly care for Dark Pit, but he's pretty important in Uprising, and I view clones as bonuses so it's no skin off my back. An extra character is an extra character.

So, yeah, I really like the newcomers. I just wish some more veterans were included.

The only real things I've noticed is in one of the Treasure pictures, it's highlighting Lyn's Trophy, but says Steel Sword.

And one screen shows "Mii FIghter."

But the first one might be lag (like how in Mario Kart 8 sometimes it shows the name of a character before their picture pops up), and the second is probably a typo since this isn't the retail game.

I never cared for Ice Climbers and Wolf was the worst character in Brawl.
Lucas was cool tho, but I'm very happy with the roster, have been for days.

Awesome post.

Regarding the (apparently cut) veterans, I really do think they'll come back as DLC. Seems like the cost-to-benefit ratio would be favorable if they were to charge, or even if it were free and simply a way to keep hype going after launch.

The black borders around the screen should be thickest on the left, not the right.... right?

The only real thing that cuts me deep is the loss of Ice Climbers.

I didn't even use them. It's just sad knowing they most likely will not be returning. My mind keeps going back to the Melee intro, where Popo grabs Nana's hand and I begin tearing up. They were so happy.

Holy crap, I'm getting emotional up in here. Man up!
