I have an expensive bet riding on Ridley not being playable, so I'm going to say that Chorus Kids screenshot is most likely fake because it's on an actual 3DS screen, as well as the characters being 2D. I mean, they could be, but I feel like Mr. Game and Watch is the only 2 dimensional fighter we need.

Now I really want to hear an explanation for why Yoshi is in the middle of the Mario characters on the CSS. That was one of the reasons I thought the leak was fake - it looked like an oversight on the part of the leaker.
The Sneaky Spirit is a simplistic flattened 3D model already, so yeah.
If it's true that, say, Dixie and Mewtwo and maybe Chorus Men are unlockable beyond what's in that CSS, then the screen could theoretically rearrange itself, as per past games.
Barring that, perhaps Sakurai is no longer OCD about icon order and feels Yoshi is more appropriate in the thick of the "Mario universe," after the vets but before the newcomers.
The roster is usually jumbled until full. Brawls was like that too.
Everything is beautiful and nothing hurts.

fair enough, this thread is just moving so fast today its insane. with the last 20 or so pages dedicated to "list" and "leaks" that may or may not even be real.
also i feel i may be the only one here but, DR.MARIO is back!!!! was my main in melee and his absence in brawl is one of the reasons i didn't play it like i did melee.

Past CSSs opened up spots for new characters, but they didn't rearrange the order of already unlocked characters, did they? The only way to stop Yoshi from diving the Marios is to switch his position with Rosalina's, but there's no reason why unlocking characters would necessitate such a change. I think that's probably his final position on the CSS, but it's a weird change.

We're pretty certain it's from a video so no chance of the others being unlocked yet. What would really help out is a ROM leaking to all of the Gateway peeps who just got an update so they can start unlocking stuff.

I don't really have any problem reading english but my sister and SO are huge Smash fans, they love to read the assist trophy's descriptions but they usually have problems doing it. I literally have to be there for translation.

You should point out that the Chorus Kid thing was reposted by someone else before hand you claims it is their first fake.
Also mention that this could be an old build and the video apparently has been circulating since june or july.
