Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!
Thinking about it, the Wii U release could be a case similar to Hyrule Warriors for Japan, i.e. a Nintendo game published by a third party...in this case, Bandai Namco.

Contrary to popular belief on the Internet, Pokemon, the company and gamefreak are Nintendo. You won't see it on any competitors platform. Ever.

Yep, it becoming pretty stupid and inrritating.

Hmm, wonder if this is a hint that Machamp will be getting a Mega Evolution? Would be weird if only some of the roster was able to. I guess it could just be a super attack and he could be given a random one.

You're wrong that they are all Nintendo.

I imagine that you're right that the bigger titles won't appear on competitor hardware (read: Sony and Microsoft's systems), though.

They are all Nintendo. They can't do anything with Pokemon that Nintendo doesn't approve of.

Neither Pokemon company (which handles the pokemon licensing) or gamefreak are Nintendo, as Nintendo has less than 50% ownership in either the Pokemon company or Gamefreak. I'm pretty sure Nintendo does have contracts locking up the Pokemon IP at least as far as games go.

That doesn't make them Nintendo. Epic couldn't do anything with Gears of War without MS's approval either, but Epic did own the Gears of War IP until recently.

hmm, i really wanted a pokken announcement and i still think its awesome

but they really could've shown us some more stuff? Cause it's really a long time since the first footage and it should've evolved a lot

Also, i don't trust the ssb leak now with mewtu and stuff.

This was just a teaser.

The real thing you should be waiting for is when they announce their first loketest (re: location test) in Japanese arcades. You can think of loketests as sort of like "open betas", but just for Japanese arcades.

That's not the same as being one company.

As a trademark holder, Nintendo has the power to stop a Pokémon project, but I think that's different than Nintendo expressly "approving" everything related to Pokémon.

Just look at this recent Pokémon TCG Online for iOS thing.

Well, I'm glad they finally unveiled Pokken properly... now all I need is for it be good and have Mawile/Kucheat as playable and I'm super happy :3
