I can only wonder if this is sincere or some biting sarcasm that escaped me

I'm playing through Walking Dead Season 2, and even though I went in expecting the 'choices' to mean next to nothing, I'm still disappointed when that happens. At least the story's good so far (I just finished episode 2)

I know what you mean, it bothered me too.

I liked the second season, but I had a huge problem with the "interactivity". I mean, it's not like the first season was great in that regard, but the second one gave players even less to do. Funny thing is that the only part with several distinct choices was the very end of the 2nd season. Thankfully the story was good, otherwise I would have probably given up on the series.

I think the proverbial curtain was lifted in how telltale operates with regards to choices in their games when everyone finished S1. Playing through S2 you know, in the back of your mind, that regardless of your choices, if Telltale want a character to die, it's gonna happen. The problem is the whole setup of the Walking Dead is predicated on survival and avoiding death so choices ultimately being somewhat meaningless takes the wind out of S2's sails. It's one of the reasons I think Wolf Among Us works far better than WD as a game, since the choices there don't deal with the pretense of saving people you're freed up to enjoy the story and it at least feels like you choices have more meaning in the grand scheme of things.

That's a beautiful graphic. A good price average as well.

I should do the same, but that requires a willpower I do not possess.

Awesome giveaway! Already got my preload ready, since I want to play this right when it releases. Loved Dead Rising 1 but have never played a minute of the second game. Hopefully I'll be able to finish Danganronpa which comes out tomorrow by the time this game is out, since the Despair Bear usually takes priority.

So, any wishes/predictions about tomorrow Humble Bundles? I'm hoping for something really good, I have that strange urge to make my backlog even bigger.

why is not on 3ds at least??? this series born to be a portable experience...

they seem to be going on a different direction since one of the points they gave was that the game will focus on "high end graphics"

my guess is that the "Revelations" sub brand will from now on mean a more oldschool survival horror type Resident Evil (at least more akin to RE4) given the demand and that RE7 onwards is just gonna keep being crazy hollywood action shenanigans

I'm fairly certain people remember me by my avatar and if they see a post talking about horror games or long impressions on something.

im finding it hard to find a project less appealing to me than Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

not sure why I need to point that out but im just kinda baffled by it

That's way too smart of a move for Capcom.

Is that the TellTale adventure game based on Borderlands? It baffles us all.

(That's a thing, right? I'm not just making it up?)

All of those horror game impressions make you hard to forget with or without a avatar.
Remember when you sported this.

It's a lot like Dead Island Riptide.
Where only the big fans of the series are really going to be interested in it.
It's just something to satisfy gamers until 3 hits.

no, that im at least curious about cause Telltale deserves as much, this is the last-gen only new borderlands developed by a different team that has like 2 new mechanics or something

it also has about the stupidest name ever and everything about it makes me wanna run away from it in a really weird way

it's like im unexpectedly disgusted by that move, and I dont even hate Borderlands like a lot of people here

Games evolve.
The original was but the new one more than likely isn't.

oh well, nintendo fans are fucked as usual...:/

On an ideal world it would be like that.

I'm not excited about the Pre-Sequel at all, but I'm sure I'm going to cave in and buy it whenever it gets discounted. Borderlands tw... I mean, Borderlands 1.5 was a really fun co-op experience and I'm sure that Borderlands 1.75 will be as well.

As for the Telltale spin-off, I would have been more excited if it were something more than an interactive novel.

Tales Of Borderlands from Telltale actually looks pretty fun. Comedy version of Walking Dead/Wolf Among Us.

I trust them enough for it to be good.

I'm still gonna buy it probably when it's heavily discounted, since there are no big co-op games released lately and the Borderland games were pretty fun (85 hours played for Borderlands 1 and 232 hours played for Borderlands 2). My buddie and I only got Far Cry 3, Castle Crashers and Metal Slug 3 left. ;__; Hope the new Lara Croft comes out soon.

I didn't think they would considering the sale of the Revalitons on the 3DS, which is what led to them mass porting it over to everything in the first place. What I did like about the 3DS version was trying to play the game without the Circle Pad Pro, felt much more like a classic Resident Evil Control scheme.

That argument works against most consoles.

Nintendo has been a generation behind since the Wii. Consoles are always quickly outdated, but the Wii and Wii U launched with hardware that is outdated by years.

Not quite as noticeable with the Wii U though, everything is 720P as you'd expect but at least Nintendo entered the HD era. 3D World and the new Fatal Frame game look pretty nice.
