Responding to the shitstorm re: review copies. I believe they're going to reiterate that Destiny is "alive" and they will constantly adapt to feedback we give them both by just playing the game and then probably through B.net.

I wouldn't expect anything more interesting than that. Not to be a downer. I'M HYPE.

Do we really have an idea of how content limited this game is going to be? Are we thinking the single player story will be a few hours long?

Just trying to get a handle on how 'light' things are gonna feel day one.

I think Luke Smith implied it took roughly 20 hrs to beat story mode and reach level 20. That's about the only indication of sp length we have.

Does the digital version purchased through PSN auto pre-load or do you have to trigger it somehow?

When I purchased it, it went into my download list. I then had to add it to my download queue. I assume that whenever it becomes available for preload, it will download automatically now.

Given that there was an alpha and a highly publicized beta before release, I don't understand how not having early reviews amounts to some sort of conspiracy theory.

If you wanted it, the game was there to be played. There are untold extra-dimensional space-caverns filled with the media, both professional and amateur, culled from those experiences. If all of that is not enough, if you are compelled to wait for a particular voice yodelling approval from out of the vast darkness, just wait a couple of days after launch.

I fear for the OT.

Ah well... I've ordered the white Sony Gold wireless headset from Amazon.com with express delivery. They just look too damn sexy. A friend of mine will buy my black Gold headset so it's a cheap transition.
The problem is now I'm leaning towards also getting a white DS4 but then my black PS4 will stick out like a sore thumb... I'm definitely not getting a white PS4 so I might as well wait for a really cool DS4 version.
Damn you Destiny! Making me spend even more money!
