I was able to get a Demo code and have been playing for an hour or two. I had the cheesiest grim on my face I'm so happy that Nintendo decided to release a demo for Smash since it's not something often done by them. It's a shame that some people won't be able to get it until next week but it should definitely help make the wait more bearable.

This is my first time playing either version and it feels really good on the 3DS, in part because I bought a peripheral where it feels like you're holding a pad.

Villager is super fun. It's weird having to learn how to use a new Smash character. Mega Man I had less luck with. His unorthodox playstyle with projectile normals throws you off. I'm used to most character's neutral airs to hit on both sides but I'm sure he's good in the right hands. I landed his FS and it was just as glorious as when we saw it at E3.

Called customer service and the nice man told me he fixed my account stuff and that a code should be sent to me whenever they fix the Club Nintendo site that is currently on fire. I don't want to wait until next Friday to play the demo. :(

Bowser Jr looks like such a fun character and the Koopaling alts just make him better.

nintendo rep says i quailify should be getting an email soon. lets hope she knows what she was talking about. she even said she email the people in charge and they should email me the code soon.

Customer service said that if I don't receive a code by the end of the day to call back. So yay!

Also seems like their customer service might be getting hammered.

My theory:

Bowser Jr. has his own unique facial expression on the Koopa Clown Car, being the main man and separate from the gang of seven known as the Koopalings.

The yellow eyes are a unifying element among the Koopalings, even as their color schemes vary for individuality. :)

I'm playing the demo and that dumb grazing effect is still in the game. If I hit the opponent then I hit them, if not then don't show me I didn't I'll see it for myself.

Doc has his Fair and Nair from Melee.
He's a beast. Zero KO'd Charizard at around 80% with his FSmash, when I can't even do that to VILLAGER on higher percent with Mario's at the edge. Welcome back Doc. <3

Looks like I found out the issue.
It's based on the region, since I got the code from someone here and I'm from Mexico it seems I can't download the demo ):.

So if I change my region do I lose all my other games?

Megaman is amazing. Hard to play as, but super fun. One of these rare characters that perfectly translate from their original games to Smash Bros.

Forward Smash, Up and Back aerials are awesome finishers. Down and Up Smashes are great for racking up damage. Down tilt is very fast and can put your enemies up in the air for followups. The Shoryuken is his strongest move when connecting at ground level, but as with other full contact moves like Luigi's Fire Uppercut and Jigglypuff's rest, it's tricky to deliver and extremely satisfying when done right.

It doesn't seem to be much of a FFA character because his projectile game is weak in terms of damage and knockback, so they can't change the tide of a fight as others. Ironically, I think he's more suited for 1vs1 battles with his high precision moves.

Sakurai fucking did it! Absolutely amazed how well the game translates onto a handheld. The demo has already fixed many of my grievances with Brawl as well. Like it actually feels like you're hitting someone this time. Very happy with it.

What do bonus songs mean? I presume songs only on Smash Run?

Man, the wait for the demo is killing me. 68 % last time I checked and its been 3 and a half hours. Shit intermet is shit. Pls lettuce move next month before any GAF tourneys start. ._.
