I'm more than sure most everyone is aware that it isn't really a B&K alt color. Doesn't stop us from dreaming though. I'm going to use that alt color and call it the B&K color.I understand that people having obsession about Banjo-Kazooie but it's not really inspired by Banjo-Kazooie.
Take a good look at the Duck.
As you see that duck had a black head, so where is black color you could spot on Kazooie? Also the feathers were orange-redish.

I would like to note that Banjo and Dog actually don't have same shade of brown. It's just happy coincidence but I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't stop anyone calling that as B&K.
What a wonderfully depressing game! You can cry into a pillow as your favorite deceased Rareware gaming icons such as Joanna Dark, Conker, Banjo & Kazooie, Mumbo Jumbo, etc. all are in a questionable SSB knock off title with such amazing game icons as CoD dog.

The realization that Microsoft has the money to do that is absolutely horrifying. It's a good thing they won't though.

The DK one is here. The Japanese versions and English versions have different crowd chants, often the Japanese ones having a lot less flavor, so you're gonna have to end up waiting for the localized release. And beyond that... sound test doesn't seem to have crowd chants, or at least not that I've unlocked....

Phil Spencer told us not to expect it but my dad works for Microsoft, and while I can't exactly disclose a name, I can tell you it rhymes with "Gill Bates." He tells me it's going to happen.
Microsoft and Activision have a close enough relationship that I'm sure they threw in Crash and Spyro along with Riley the Dog and other classic Call of Duty characters.
All I remember is a swirling vortex of color lol.

Haha, I remember that article! If Microsoft ever does a crossover, they need to avoid making it anything like Smash whatsoever. That's what doomed All-Stars to begin with. I think maybe a third person beat em up would work well with Microsoft's characters. I'd rather have no crossover at all though.
Microsoft gives us a dog we can truly care about. Take that, Nintendo.
As long as licensing isn't a problem, I'd like it if they tried to incorporate some more ripped voice assets. Would anyone really mind if the voice samples for Peach's Daisy costume were the ones from Mario Kart, for example? And it's not like cohesion is all that much of an issue - a sizeable portion of the cast has been using the same recordings for over a decade.

If you're referring to Riley the dog from Ghosts then you're mistaken: that's third party. But don't worry - he's going to be in for sure. Microsoft would do anything to get such a classic and beloved character in the game.
There was talk about Gordon Freeman being in Master Chief X Microsoft: Xtreme Xboxing but it seems Valve is keeping him for their own Smash clone coming never.

Yeah. I kinda dislike it. Makes the clown car look... soulless. At least it still has its expression changes. But it loses its charm. I've also noticed a little lack of detail with the Koopalings' clown cars, as when they wear their angry expression, the red dots around the eyes from Bowser Jr.'s car are suddenly there, with the black dots above and below them missing. Heh.
Is it sad I would enjoy a Valve Smash clone more than a Microsoft Smash clone?

I wonder how okay with Smash 6 people would be if we got 15 newcomers, some returning cut vets, and six of the newcomers are Rare Ltd. characters?
The multiplayer third-person beat-em-up/hack-and-slash formula really needs to be exploited more for crossover games. If PSASBR had decided to copy Anarchy Reigns rather than Smash Bros., it would have probably have been less of a failure.
Snake would snap Joanna Dark's neck three times before she could say "My first game was good!".

I honestly think we've have had Banjo and Joanna in Brawl if the Rare buyout never happened, with Gruntilda being one of the big newcomers for this game.

WAT. HER HAIR IS A HAT? Nintendo pls release a Daisy costume for Peach. So what if she's "unimportant and minor". She'll never get anything else. PUT 'ER IN SMASH.
I actually don't even like Daisy. But the treatment she gets is painfully sad.
She's been reduced to a wig...I'd laugh if it wasn't so sad.
Anarchy Reigns gameplay would be amazing for a crossover game. So much more space to fight in. Hell, I could imagine some arenas with mechs to pilot. If Microsoft did that, Banjo would probably have one made of vehicle parts. Of course they'd pay EA to use Titans from Titanfall, too.
You can pay me now, Microsoft. I want my 2 billion.

If Rare had been around still, I'm sure there'd be a lot more Rare things in Smash. Especially in Brawl.
That's about all I mourn over when it comes to the buyout. All that lost Smash content. Well, that, DK Racing and Banjo-Threeie.
