Do publishers have a habit of doing this kind of thing on PSN? Dropping prices dramatically before becoming a PS+ offering?
He says the PS4 games are older titles, I would assume that means already released on PS4.

No, he already mentioned that they were out on other consoles, but NOT on PS4.
And no it won't be Crysis; the gave away Crysis 3 last month.

No. They specifically got a lot of flak for this a long time ago and said they would not do it, and it has not happened since. If it is on mega sale, then it likely won't be on Plus for 3-4 months or more. So it's kind of an indicator of whether something is coming soon or not.

Doubt they'd do that, its been PS Plus before, at least in Europe, on Vita/PS3. Seeing as its Cross Buy anyway I think they'd rather put something up that hasn't been a Plus game.

Yes but that would mean that they're giving away the same exact game for the second time. Those who got the PS3-V versions will also get the PS4 versions, so they would be basically giving away the same game for the same platforms twice. It would be a first and I think it's very unlikely
But since we're talking about a Curve studios game...that Titan game was split into two parts, the first one was released back this summer but I don't think the second one has been released yet...
EDIT: Yep, Titan Attacks has been released in may, while Revenge of the Titans isn't out yet. Could be it

Yeah, I was looking through upcoming PSN games last night and those two seem to fit the bill. Jamestown Plus and Samurai Gunn seem like a possibility, too.
Wait wait wait.
Revenge of the Titans is coming to PSN? On what systems?
Loved the bits I played of it but never finished. Would love to get it on PS4 or PSV.

Could it be Bioshock, Assassin's Creed, Bayonetta, Uncharted...? How many "older, first the series of AAA IP" games do we have on PS3?

BioShock could be, but it would be the first time that we would receive a predecessor of a game that we already received (BS2, BS: I), unless I'm mistaken
Assassin's Creed doesn't have any trophies, therefor I don't think it has a chance.
Is Bayonetta a series? I know the second one is coming, but I wouldn't really call it a series.
The first Uncharted isn't even on the PS Store, so small chance.
Edit: maybe Far Cry HD (technically it's a predecessor, but chronologically it released after Far Cry 3)

We already got Uncharted 3 and Bioshock Infinite, so I doubt it's those... I think AssCreed 3 at some point too? We got Dead Space 3 and Batman: Arkham City too already.
Someone said Dragon Age: Origins, that's a good guess I suppose. None of them have been on PS+ as far as I know. It's getting fairly old by now, though. Maybe Castlevania: LoS? >_>

1) AssCreed III was on PS+, for EU. It'd be weird if NA got AssCreed 1. So I doubt it.
2) Batman: Arkham City has been on PS+, so I doubt we'd get Asylum.

It should not, but there was one case here in GAF when renewing did not restore the old PS+ library, and only after a long back-and-forth with customer support, they discovered that there was a bug, which was solved by adding another month of plus (the old library came back afterwards).
That said my sub is running out end of September, and I'm planning on re-subbing end of October so:
- I don't miss the October games
- I can maximize my PS+ time given that...
- I have a huge non PS+ backlog to chew on anyway
- If there's any sort of spend50/get10 or a PS+ 12/3 promo that comes up, I can take advantage of it
nope. Resubsribe e.g. after 7 months and you get all the games of your library back.
Clearing the library after a subscription ends would remove one huge draw to resubscribe.
"Resubscribe and get your 40 games back you have not touch touched yet..."

Didn't know about Demon's Souls, but that means Dark Souls could still be?
GoW HD was on EU PS+ ? Maybe it could be a NA only next month?
I hope it isn't. I would like Dead Island, Dark Souls or Lords of Shadow, I don't know, most of the games of the list I either already have it or don't care
There hasn't been a 12/3 all year. I bought a couple of years last BF, and I've been waiting for a 12/3 to redeem. No joy so far.

Not sure if someone already responed to this, but you can buy something on your secondary account and play it via remote play - for remote play you just need to start the game on your main account that you also use on Vita.
