Dudes, Bloodborne CE is up on amazon. I'm violently hurling cash at the screen as I type this.

I need this.

So, quick question, do you think introducing romance in a mostly action adventure story is a good idea. My arcs then to drag quite a bit already, and I usually don't have romance simply because it wold bog down the story and be kind of lame.

With that said I'm not completely against romance, just something I usually only write very small amount or leave it to its own genre.

Should I buy a Collector's Edition of a game for a console I don't own? I'm considering it.

I have Bayonetta 2 pre-ordered without a Wii-U. I probably won't get one until Christmas at the earliest, kind of holding out for Nintendo to do their big holiday thing that they inevitably do to compel purchase.

I'll admit it feels kind of weird, but kind of... good? The sort of feeling you get from Kickstarting something, I suppose. I like the idea I'm both helping P* afford next week's lavish ramen and bottled water dinners, and that I'm doing my part to make sure Nintendo (and SEGA) know that Bayonetta is not a mistake.

IMO, good romance in action adventure works when the two characters had a backstory and previous rendezvous (like in Raiders of the Lost Ark).

If the chemistry between the characters is good enough then yeah, just don't force it in.

Get Demon's or Dark 1. They're dirt cheap and amazing. If you don't have a PS3, do Dark 1. That's on everything.

Hey, he came in today. We just gotta go fast.
If you dont want to see me rant about what i disliked about demons dont read
Honestly I feel that Demons is a bit too obtuse with its difficulty curve. Like the beginning of the game was just rediculosly hard for a newb. 1-2 is just bullshit I mean the second area of the game is an area where most deaths occur cause a dragon is breathing fire at you and instakilling you is just balls. However the end of the game is just a joke, like the archdemons except false king allant were all just gimmick fights that are all super easy to beat, and the areas are all just boss arenas. I dunno I feel like they put a lot of effort into the dungeons then the bosses.

Everyone else jumped ship, c'mon you too.

The Pat friendership covenant? What things to i get for joining?

So much for sleeping, friender. :/

It's the best way to go honestly. Going back to Demon's after DS1 or even 2 is pretty rough.

Even then I might miss things they did to improve the game or references of the old game from the previous. I enjoy playing by order of release, it just makes more sense.

I was going to sleep but I see we're nearing the end of this thread. I still haven't finished prepping the new one. Big surprise: the Pat one is winning by a huge margin.

Bear of ginger, key to OT's ether,
Picture of Pat, withdrawn from its hyperlink,
Let avatars be granted, so that the thread might be mended,
So that the thread might be mended.

I'm stealing this.

Guess what? That's most From Soft games in a fucking nutshell.

And compared to those other games, the Souls series is easy.

The funny thing is that the references in DS1 and 2 work either way, regardless of your playing order. Demon's is kind of its own thing anyway.

If you get a PS3 I'll lend it to you.
Just don't take a year to finish it.

I havent even "started" P4 yet. Still waiting for cables to ship.
I will take a year to finish it. You know me too well. Unless i binge and play with no sleep.

You can always skip DS2 if you dont complete them in time.

In time for bloodborne? I already know i wont be playing bloodborne on first few montsh let alone first day.

One of us, One of us...

That's a valid opinion. You don't have a PS4 yet either, do you?

*peer pressure intensifies*

No I dont. I dont even have a PS3.

I'll be honest Armored Core kicks my ass far harder than Demon/Dark Soul series, mostly because in Armored Core there are a lot more factors you have to pay attention to, and your build might be amazing in one mission and flat out awful in the next
