Never realized so many people take it so hard when I say Well Played. I guess it's like an offensive GG in SC2 if the winner uses it first... so I can see it I guess.

Personally, I guess I'm a glass half-full type, because it never bothers me and I always assume they mean it sincerely.

Yeah, I'm the same. I just see it as a well-intentioned GG. Threaten before death is the mean one.

I usually "well played" first when I win or concede, and most of the times I get a 'well played' back.

I never thought some people think it is rude to do so. Weird.

I love those assholes who spam "oops" every time you make a move because in the end when you come back and win you can draw out the game and force them to shame concede.

Lose or win I always say "Well Played" i also ALWAYS greet the opponent.
Last night i pulled a good play and my opponent said "Well Played", it felt awesome :3

Is anyone else not able to get new packs or anything? When I load up Hearthstone the shop button is covered with a sign that says Shop Closed.

I'm REALLY HOPING we get word on an iPhone version at Blizzcon. Would definitely play a lot more if I could do so on my phone. Don't have an iPad :(

They just recently gave an update on it.

We’re also close to having Hearthstone out to our iPhone and Android phone users, but it’s become clear that we need a little more time to get that version right. While we have a build up and running internally, it needs a bit more work, and we don’t feel like we’ll be ready to share it with you until early next year. It’s very important to us that the phone experience for Hearthstone is just as accessible as the tablet and PC versions. One of the biggest challenges with that is revamping the user interface so it feels intuitive and offers the same quality Hearthstone experience, but this time from the palm of your hand.

The November card back was added to the game. It's called "Goblin":

If depends, if it's a hunter I squelch them for pretty much anything. Same with zoo.

I usually never say anything unless they have been prematurely cocky.

Well played!
Well played!
Well played!
Well played!
Well played!

I wish Hearthstone had:

"I immediately regret my decision"
"Game is hard"
"New meta!"

Hearthstone could actually use a couple more emotes. There's this one guy in Dota 2 who has like three chat wheels worth of chat commands hotkeyed and frequently employs almost all of them.

Hearthstone feels too limited in comparison, I can't express myself.

Also, I want an "Is this constructed?" emote when playing in Arena because my opponent just got another dream opener with Undertaker > Coin > Webspinner into Haunted Creeper and Harvest Golem.

I just wish there was a setting for auto-squelching all your opponents. It's not like I'm gonna miss out on valuable interactions without them.

playing an arena because hunter is soooooo boring

got to live the double spiteful smith/deadly poison/assassin's blade dream

10 damage right to the face

The rebound of hunter is just more proof that the problem all along was undertaker and mad scientist. The UTH nerf did next to jack diddly.

Not true, Hunter's existence disabled Shaman's existence because of that combo. At least now Shaman doesn't get auto-punished for using their hero power.

Say, has there been any further word on the upcoming 100 card expansion?

oh dang i see here it says that the new xpac cards will come from a new set of booster packs? i wonder how that might affect arena rewards?

Some poor sap (no pun intended) tried to run his mill rogue deck against a zoo deck I was running yesterday. Played Coldlight Oracle on me 4 times, Vanished my board, and sapped a couple minions and didn't make me overdraw a single card.

Why? Its Heathstone's equivalent of "GG"

Exactly.

If someone wants to be rude when he is winning, they usually use "Sorry" - this kind of thing is what makes me squelch when a match isn't going in my favor.
I really wish the game would tell your opponent you are squelching him.

Depends on the match up.

Hunter / Zoolock emoting "Well Played" when they kill you turn 7 and you hardly had time to react? BM. (I mute those decks at the start as they are usually emote spammers in my experience).

A well fought even match up of back and forth emoting "Well Played" on the win? fine with me.

I rather it not tell them. It would just give griefers a goal to work for and they'll know they got to you when they get the message. Just squelch them and let them waste their time.

The RNG is so cruel at times.

6 cards in hand, it was win or die against a Priest in Arena playing as Warlock. I had lethal if my Soulfire didn't discard my Doom Guard, 4:5 chance in theory of happening. Of course, bye bye Doom Guard lol. Maybe there's an unwritten rule, I see it happen way too much to be random!

I would swear there are cards that get priority to be discarded. I've had plenty of hands where I have both a Shadow Bolt and Soul Fire with four to five other cards and Shadow Bolt is always discarded. Good thing its only been Shadow Bolt for me. Losing a Doom Guard must be disheartening.

My 62 year old dad's been learning to play Hearthstone lately ever since I showed him how to play a couple months ago. Today he was getting real frustrated with a deck he made and wanted me to try it for a game to see how what was going on with it. 10 minutes into a game with it and I'm starting to slip behind; my pop had some...interesting choices for cards. Eventually it gets to the point where I have a Sylvannas on the board and my opponent has a 4/4 stealthed Shade. I drop Baron Rivendare next turn, then my opponent drops Onyxia (which as most of you know, fills the whole rest of the board with 1/1 whelps). I run my Sylvannas into Onyxia, and proceed to first take the Shade, and then Onyxia. As my dad was watching we both burst out laughing. That was a great father/son moment - Hearthstone brings families together!

Playing arena as shaman, face a warlock.

I get board control only to lose it a couple times because of power overwhelmings and shadowflame. It finally gets the the point where he is topdecking, and proceeds to draw three doomgaurds off of topdecks, getting them at insane value.

I manage to keep the game close by reincarnating his zombie chow for 10. Before I know it he has run out of cards at 10hp. I held on to win! As the game ends, one of my quests is deal 100 damage to the hero. It flashes across the screen, [1/100 damage].

....I just won I and did ONE damage. I still can't believe it.

I had an annoying arena RNG happen to me earlier too.

I forget the exact minions, but I had a few weaker ones out. I recall a 4/3 spellbreaker, 2/2, 2/3, and a 3/2 faerie dragon. They had 12 HP after healing and I'm a mage, so I had lethal on board with hero power and they had nothing but a one damage minion. I had a frostbolt for lethal in hand if one of the minions died, barring the spellbreaker. He was also topdecking at this point.

Out comes mind control tech and it grabs my 4/3 spellbreaker, putting me 1 off lethal, and the priest rushed me hard earlier so I only had 6 health so I needed to trade out instead. Fuck that card.

The chance to discard Doomguard and Jaraxxus is a fixed 90%

I tried playing that rogue mill deck and lost 5 in a row.

Then won one... not playing any of my mill cards.

Outside Priest vs Priest I don't milling works really well in Hearthstone because of how large the hand size is. From my experience, when matches get drawn out, it usually become a topdeck war anyways so that makes milling impossible at that point (especially when they're aggressively for the board).

that rogue mill deck is really good against control decks of any kind. but it's an aggro heavy meta so even the slower decks aren't interested in stalling the game out and getting a big hand.

It depends. Milling can work, but it mostly just works against certain deck types. Control type decks are most susceptible to getting milled. Control Warrior, Freeze Mage, and Handlock can all get brutalized by mill decks if you wait for them to build a pretty big hand before you start forcing draws. Most other decks just appreciate the free card draw and can play enough cards that they won't lose many or even any at all. If you try to mill an agro deck like Zoo or Shockadin, they'll just run you over with cheap minions.

I genuinely think a lot of the Hunter-grief would go away if a neutral anti-secret minion was introduced. You can keep your Undertakers and Mad Scientists, just give me a way to not have to trigger that Freezing Trap.
