What are the 3 party AAA Exclusives on or coming to PS4?

Yakuza 0 and Persona 5. (well they got PS3 versions too)

Also you should ask the mod for a title change. Poor choice of number.

Hellblade is timed, persona 5, yakuza, and pretty much every 3rd party japanese title on ps4 is cross gen, or cross system (sounds weird)

Bloodborne is 1st/2nd party.

Pretty sure he's talking about 3rd party exclusives.

There's Deep Down and Disgaea 5 right now. There's also another one that was mentioned by Verendus.

disgaea 5 isn't AAA by any means, deep down okay maybe
but I seriously doubt capcom is just funneling exhaustive resources for a f2p dungeon crawler

It's sad that, even for the market leader this generation, people are struggling to even come up with 1 AAA third party exclusive.

How can Persona 5 count when the PS4 version is a port?

None that people wouldn't argue about, basically. Japanese games no longer "count" it seems, most notable games have SCE publishing deals, there's Hellblade but who knows what to call a game like that. For the most part third party AAA exclusives don't really exist anymore without being funded by the platform holder because I mean, why would they?

Really wish people weren't so fussy about whether games are "AAA" or not, not sure why it's become such a big concern lately. IF you told me in 2000 that people would be refusing to play games because their budget wasn't in the top percentile I'd laugh at you.

3rd party exclusives only happened when a console was super dominant and the publisher thought "hey, 90 percent of the fanbase is on ps2,

Well MS counts Titanfall as a Xbox One "exclusive" so I think it's ok to include cross gens.

Why is that sad? 3rd party games shouldn't be exclusive to either console anyway.

AAA exclusives......none. A tonne of PS3/4, PSV/4 titles for now though:

Persona 5
Yakuza 0
Deep Down
Let it Die (?)
GG Xrd
DQ Heroes
Disgaea 5
Ys 8
God Eater 2 Rage Burst

As you can see, a lot of Japanese games.

Well it's certainly not a low quality/effort game.

I'm not arguing the quality - I think the series wrecks most others in that respect - but I always reckoned AAA referred to those huge budget games like Asscreed, CoD etc. and there's no way Persona gets close to those (Edit: In terms of budget, exposure etc).

It's a PS3 port anyway so I have no idea why people are even mentioning it.

How is that "sad"? Exclusives should be funded by console publishers or if a developer knows where it's audience is (Persona/Yazuka/BB/GG/Disgaea/etc).

Big AAA third party exclusives that's appealing to a wide audience makes no sense.

Why are you reading my tag instead of the title of my post?
Sony slaps a SCE logo on every exclusive game they get. So none. Deep Down is co-developed with Japan Studio. Persona 5 isn't PS4 exclusive.
