I once pre-ordered a game at the midnight launch and they gave it to me. Still, I hate this feeling of not knowing.

You can do that for every midnight launch. I assume that one is niche (Vita and all) so they might not have enough copies for non-preorders though.

They usually have a cut-off of "Get here by 10" type of thing, but I was there with a friend and it was like 2AM because we were way back in line and they let me put in a pre-order, then immediately buy the game. And what I heard from a couple employees I used to hangout with they usually get a couple extra copies of even their more niche games just in case someone comes in the day before, but then when I pre-ordered Mugen Souls that was the only one coming in and only because I pre-ordered, so who really knows.

You can come in until like 11 something and pay for a copy there. As long as you get the stamp, you're good to know. I'd call today before closing (close at 9, reopen at 10) and ask if they have any copies for non-preorders.
It's the people who try to buy copies arriving at midnight hoping to get one that more often than not get screwed.

i have some money left over on my xbox live account from when i bought d4 with a prepaid card and it won't let me add the rest of the funds for halo mcc via paypal only a credit card (no i will not shut up and just use a credit card i treat paypal like two factor authentication)

so basically the solution is to leave and buy another prepaid or go to gamestop/walmart tonight and buy it
