Did we ever get a launch date for PC?

Also, this looks great but the song and editing didn't strike chord with me this time. I loved the second trailer with using Stevie Wonder's Skeletons, way better cut :)

(EDIT) Oh and I played that game to single player completion. Loooved it. Will buy this real-release (see what I did there, hehu).

GTAVs value as a piece of entertainment is far in excess of the $60 entry fee. Compare other forms of entertainment and what you get for $60 and post your findings. To me, it is simply unrivaled based solely on previous gen, never mind this version.

The next Red Dead game will be Rockstar's second generation PS4/XBone game, so GTA6 will be a third gen game on current consoles.

Have they said anything about extra music being added? I'm also miffed on which version to get, I figured PS4 would have had some kind of exclusive content so I kind of want to go for the xbox one version if that isn't the case. Especially if both are 30fps and 1080p

Just got home and watched this on my TV @ 1080p. Even with youtube compression, looks phenomenal.

Don't think the IQ will be 100% pristine but ..... augh .. god I wanted that so bad ... but I'll live with it. AS LONG AS THE FRAMERATE IS STABLE 99% OF THE TIME.

Over 150 new songs across all stations, according to CVG.

PC version: January 27th, 2015, so about 2.5 months months away.

Maybe enough time to save up for components to put a decent gaming rig together.

It's great that they didn't just improve existing world objects (e.g. just editing existing objects) but are actually adding completely new world objects (new trees, trash, debris, foliage, etc) in places where nothing existed before.

And damn those pets look good. If we can buy those or use those in that Chop app? Haha that's my ticket to get more game time from the wife :p


Anyone notice The Lost hanging out in front of Trevor's liquor store/meth lab though? What's with that :p

That's right. Think about that too long and you may run out of saliva.

Honestly I stopped playing gta4 not long after finishing it but I think I'll end up playing this until the next gta releases and long after. It's already my favorite game of all time. I have no doubt I'll still have my mind blown.

I need a PS4 so I can double-dip. In fact, I just want to give Rockstar North my bank details and let them take whatever they need to keep making more GTA.

I wish they upressed Dan Houser to a next gen version. It always looked beautiful, the plod plot was the big problem and probably still is.

I basically live in the Grand Senora with Trevor on free roam so actually more Lost spawns in and around the desert would give me more to do haha

My daily GTA routine is basically log-in near the oil derricks, do a path around Stab City and Grapeseed Lost bases while checking the 2 road spawns from traveling Lost bikers, do a couple smuggling missions while I'm in Grapeseed, and then head back to the trailor to decide which sort of outfit/car/theme I want to mess around with for the evening :D

So a few more Lost hanging around would give me a few more places to get into shootouts. Wish we got some new random events, property missions, smuggling missions, etc. The trailers are still pretty devoid of actual new gameplay content but I'm sure we'll continue to get monthly DLC and the remaster already looks pretty awesome.

I was just informed that I have to leave town for work on the 18th - 22nd...
This pains me so much. I am so damn hyped and now I must wait all week to play it

Can you do remote play on the Vita from long distances? I might be lucky enough to have fast wifi where I'm going and that would make things a little easier to get through

Playing the whole game in first-person is gonna be fucking great. Gaming heaven with this and Dragon Age next week.

I remain skeptical of a FPS mode in a 3rd person action game, I'm not sure they will be able to nail the feel. I know they are claiming its a proper mode as opposed to a mod....but I will play the wait and see approach

Yes you can do remote play from anywhere so long as you have a decent wifi signal, just remember to leave your PS4 on standby.

The trailer just played during Gotham over here in the UK, it looked great, but still doesn't top the last gen launch trailer.

As far as trailers themselves go, I think this launch trailer was actually one of R*'s worst.

I thought "A Picket Fence and a Dog Named Skip" was not only a better trailer, but actually showed off how impressive the PS4 version is, much more than the launch trailer.

please let there be no downgrades from that one or the E3 2014 trailer!
