Tales of Hearts R |OT| With Our Vitas Combined

This is probably Namco's last shot on the Vita in the West. They know SAO will make them money, we'll probably get the new game next year, but this is their last shot.

Why is the R missing from the title?
Goddammit. I hope a mod can change that. I'm an idiot.
Thank to whoever changed it!
Great OT, good job.
But you should upload the expanded profile pics somewhere instead of linking them because some of them don't work.
Done.
Gamestop shipped my copy, but I did not receive a separate email for the dlc costumes. Is it in the package?
Gamestop website says "Code will be emailed within 2 business days after your order ships. "

Quick question, does Vita operate on regular PSN update time (so sometime tomorrow aka God only knows)? Since I'm going digital.

I completed a pre-release copy just yesterday - don't want to go too much into impressions at the moment though.

Some maybe helpful comments: The game took me 34 hours, doing most sidequests. I think the game hits its stride after (location spoiler)
the desert, maybe ten hours in
. They game is very typically structured, both mechanically and in the narrative, so don't expect too much on the creative front.

For the record, there's only one missable sidequest with a reward that's worth it (figured this was worth mentioning considering the series we are talking about).

Another tip: don't forget about cooking.

I forgot it was coming out tomorrow. I called Gamestop and asked if it was still possible to pre-order and they said yes. So I went, pre-ordered, and paid off my copy. I'm going to pick it up tomorrow morning.

Picking up my copy tomorrow to show my ENTHUSIASM.

Dunno when I'll get around to playing it though. I'm still way behind on my backlog.

Will be pretty nice on my Vita TV though. Hoping it's whitelisted.

We'll see if I can get a copy tomorrow when I go for groceries. I don't have it preordered and will buy it on a whim just to support #jrpgvita

Word of caution: Namco has a very small shipment for GS on this one. My store received two over reserve quantities, another store only received one copy while having three reserves. This means I don't have any copies for walk up customers since I have to transfer out the extras.

If you don't have the chance to pre order it tonight, do a hold request (Online) tomorrow morning before the store opens.

I need to put in an order at Gamestop's website. I want the physical version and it'll probably be pretty rare. I don't need to wait any more.

Reposting from the other thread:

Thanks for the video. Gj on keeping the hand steady lol. A bit worried there's no voice language option in options. Glad it's Japanese voice + English subs. 4:3 cut scene tho :)

Will buy digitally tomorrow since I can't find any physical R1 copy around.

What do you use to record?

That's actually a friend's video, so I'll have to ask him and then get back to you, haha.

But I do know he uses a pretty good camera and a pretty good mike that makes it sound like direct-feed audio.

Edit: There we go. The camera is a Canon T3i + 28-135mm lens, and the recorder is the Zoom H4N.

Do you know somewhere where the game will be sold in Brazil?

I haven't seen a single listing for the retail version yet :/

Your best bet is definitely checking Mercado Livre, unfortunately. I haven't even seen anyone stocking "big" Vita games like Freedom Wars here.

Not the Tales game I wanted but I'll buy it before month ends. Hopefully many more people do the same thing and make Namco consider localization of the real-deal Innocence R.

Namco has lot of localizations to do next year.

Decided to pick this up at GameStop tomorrow (never cancelled the in-store pre-order I did before the Namdai store had the game available for purchase) since Namdai's story won't have it available for a while according to what I've heard.

Any idea if you can turn off the Japanese voices but keep them enabled in battles? I really don't care for super high pitched female Japanese voices and the like, but it'd be weird if the voices were disabled completely in battles for instance.

ULTROS!

People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks.
Got the Asian retail version:

It includes the 5 DLC outfits and English voice overs. I haven't played it yet to confirm.
