Usually there is a free game on BF or CM can't recall, a free game for two weeks around xmas (in addition to GwG), and a bunch of 75% off type stuff. 2012 in particular was epic, especially if you got half price banana bucks from target BF.

This of course is for 360. The bone doesn't have as much of a library to support a big sale, but I'd rather they did fewer games with deep discounts than a bunch of 20% off type crap.

Haven't had trouble with party system, in fact, me and 3 other folks have gone through Halo 3/4 campaign with no issues. Matchmaking is certainly broken, I've gotten in several matches when I tried though.
I haven't noticed framerate issues. I'm not a splitscreen scrub though, so maybe that is why.
Have to say I have not had a single crash on the game yet.
