North American publisher Viz Media will release Twin Star Exorcists (Sōsei no Onmyōji), the latest manga from Good Luck Girl! (Binbō-gami ga!) creator Yoshiaki Sukeno. The website ICv2 describes the story of "two exorcists of equal strength who are fated to marry and produce a child, the ultimate spiritual warrior."

Sukeno launched the "new-generation onmyō (ancient Japanese occultism) fantasy" in Shueisha's Jump Square magazine last November, and Shueisha published the third compiled book volume in October. Viz will begin publishing the manga next summer at a rate of two volumes per year.

What decrease? The 2014 yearly sales post in a few days ought to show the other volumes that high too.

The reason I ask is because for series that have already become popular, they are front-loaded in sales and often chart in top 50 for 1 to 3 weeks before falling off (One Piece can stay on for 6-7). Thus the total for sales is based off of 3 weeks of sales until the "top selling manga" charts at the end of the year. However, the number of sales they record there is actually sales for that specific year only. If a volume came out in 2013 but for some reason in 2014 had enough sales to merit a "top selling volume of 2014" spot, the chart will show the amount sold in 2014.

In other words, the total sales of Terra Formars Vol 1 is probably higher than Vol 3, just that it's hard to tell because you have to actually pay Oricon for full numbers, I think?
