Lmao, family update, they walked and saw it for $180 and only box left. They send a picture, im like yesss, just grab them and it will show $40. Thank god they put the wrong price on them, they usually only have 6 of those...

Thanks for this OP! I was checking GAF when I was in line at Target for the iPad mini 2 (got the last one for $299 + $100 gift card!) as I read this thread. My Target had both 1 white and 1 black model so I picked up the black one. Rang up as $39.99!
Yeap. I put in a Store Pickup order. Gonna price match to in-store before I leave. Or return and rebuy. Or return it if they can't since I really don't need these. Can't believe I'm going out during Black Friday... Oh well.

I can confirm these are selling at $40 in store. My store was sold out, and there was a close store nearby selling them but I thought it would be better to go to Wal-Mart or something and price match them.

Stores make this mistake all the time, they put items on wrong rack and or people hide items to buy them later. It wasnt a hike but they just put it in the wrong shelf behind a locked case...so probably all day nobody had a inkling to scan it.
Yeah, it's supposed to be $30 off. Store registers seem to be doubling the discount.

I don't own a set but I've heard the low end is weak and mixed reactions about the mic quality.
However, the ease of use and flexibility makes this more than worth it at $40.

I don't think it is a mistake at all. The headset rings up at $39 - which is the same sale price they have for X1, PS4 controllers...I just think it was a "surprise" unadvertised sale. If it were $39.99 I would believe it. But $39 is a very deliberate price for sales.

My store had a tag saying "Playstation Gold Wireless Heads... $39.99 as Advertised" and it was never Advertised.... So, it was no pricing mistake, maybe a failed advertising mistake?
