Weird way to announce the new SaGa game :O

It will probably be Vita/iOS/Android and not the Dic console rpg reveal.

It's Ys (pronounced like "geese" without the g), without the apostrophe. It's in your first two posts, so if you have the chance to fix it, it would make me and probably two other people happy.

A new home console SaGa would be amazing, and glad to see that Gravity Rush 2 is still in active development (probably for PS4 at this rate, so I hope the original is at least ported, a la Tearaway). I know that Japan Studio's been through a tumultuous period, but hopefully we'll see the fruit of its labor within the decade (please?).

Interesting regarding Cygames. As for CC2, I personally hope it's .Hack or a new IP and not another Naruto game. There are too many Naruto titles out and I'm not much of a fighting game person.

*heart stops* I love being alive today! Don't care if any of this is not really news/is expected. Hearing it from the creators is heartwarming in it's own way.

It's just a funny response. Read it as him being sad because the person tweeting him is sad. He's not referring to the game's progress. He replies with crying since the person tweeting him puts a crying emoticon at the end.

TLG is coming along fine at the moment.

So why is TLG expected to be dead. Many games like Mother 3, Duke Nukem, Alien CM & FFversus13/15 took about decade to make. Why cant TLG get made? Who knows how different it will be, but as long as they say it, it is going to be made. I cant say and I wont predict when it will happen, but it will happen... whenever.

People just like to be negative/make fun of everything :/

Is Kagerou/Deception a bigger series in Japan than I'm aware of, or is it actually weird that Koei's big thing for the 20th anniversary is Deception? I liked the little I played of Deception IV but I didn't think there was a lot of buzz for it.

Relax. Atlus is more than Persona 5. Here are the games they're working on right now:
  1. Devil Survivor 2: Break Record (January 29, 2015)
  2. Etrian Mystery Dungeon (March 5, 2015)
  3. Persona 4: Dancing All Night (TBA 2015)
  4. Persona 5 (TBA 2015)
  5. Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem (TBA)
  6. [Unknown] (TBA 2017)
  7. Etrian Odyssey V (TBA)
  8. New IP (or several?) (TBA)
*Trademarked: Deviliser and Asraga Adventure Chronicle.
**Team Maniax is in preparatory/active development on a game.

Bunch of stuff for their 200 (121 full-time) employee operation.

Verendus, can you confirm whether Sony planned on debuting TLG during PSX and pulled our last minute? Or was that just an unsubstantiated rumor?

Team Maniax should make a new mainline Shin Megami similar to Nocturne for the PS4 and Kazuma Kaneko should be the character and demon designer. SMTIV was somewhat disappointing compared to Nocturne.

These two interest me the most, since these are talking about the 20th anniversary then I'm guessing these unannounced titles are for the PS platform?

This thread got me more hyped than any gaming conference this year (maybe sony's gamescon was a little better, hmm).

I hope the SaGa game comes out on PS4, but I'd take a handheld game as well, I'm just glad to see SE doing stuff that's not FF/DQ/KH.

Ueda I believe in you, TLG will come out someday.

And omg, Gravity Rush, new Atlus game, wtf, I don't even need footage, just to know they are making stuff is more than enough for me.

I wish they would have mentioned more of this stuff at PSX, just mentioned it, like they did with P5.

It's really a niche series right now; last entry sold around 70k units. It was a 150-200k IP on PS1 though.
