that's not the answer I was looking for! You were giving away some spares (yesterday, or was it before yesterday?) that I glimpsed and now remembered that I don't know where these come from. So could you kindly tell me if there are some new bundles that started in last 2 or 3 days, except for indiegala monday which I haven't missed, I never forget it for some reason

I mean, I have had 15 Euro in the game and go Tinder and probably soon another game of that worth, have still a lot of cards of worth in the inventory and crafted some badges. I'm not entirely sure, but I think I came out well out of this.

Although not as well as the speculaters that bought stuff en masse when it was at 40 cent of course. But at least I don't lost. I think.

I should, shouldn't I? But I like to tease him for some reason

I still lost about 10 Euro, even if I sold a whole lot of items, but I made to my goal and I expected that. I just didn't expect cards to go up in price so long before sale, Valve screwed my plans with all this madness.

on second thought, I could have not crafted boosters or bid in auction or both and I probably would have made my money back and then some, with prices on gems now. Oh well, you can't have everything.

No but really, at this point it's so automated there's no point; much like like 40% to 60% of the IRL stock-market is automated.

Winter Sale starts soon; much easier just to pay IRL monies than buy/sell gems.

ya, I know about it, but it's a paint to navigate, to be honest. Also it doesn't track all bundles, while Jasec does! (><)

How the hell did Valve make all of you excited for overpaying for games?
I mean, most of the stuff that's not costing more than store price is just bundle fodder, and even if you want to buy it normally, it still will be cheaper come Thursday than the gem prices...

Well all I know is that the Seal starts Thursday, I've got a clean inventory, animu badges crafted at a cheap cost and almost an extra tenner in the wallet thanks to the insanity the last couple of days. Sure I could have made more, could have even played the gems game and snagged a profit or auction or two but I'm happy as a pig in the proverbial.

I don't think Valve wants to curb cross-region trading entirely; it just wants to remove keys from the equation. If it really wanted to stamp out CRT, it could apply ACRTAG to every active store sub in one fell swoop.

It's an auction, it's exciting, that's how humans work, that's why we have auctions at all!
It is total waste of time, energy and money, though, you are right about that (><)

edited: wait... when volvo added lowest bids tab, it wasn't there before, or my blindness reached the whole new level!

Say guys, what game do you recommend for the "appid.txt" trick? I've been using Wizorb, but it annoys me that it always goes fullscreen.

I kinda understand Valve trying to remove key trade. I mean, how it is possible we use keys for specific games like CSGO, DOTA, and TF2 as backbone for trading. What will happened if the key continue piling up but the player for the game dwindle?
Steam economy hurts my brain.

Whatchu know about winnin'?

Just a bit of advice if any of you are having trouble sniping. Have an Adjust date/time window open so you can see the full time, h:mm:ss, and confirm your bid by x:xx:25 at the last minute, looks like Valve's clock switches over at x:xx:30. You'll probably get a message saying it's too late, but I got that message even when I'd actually won. You'd probably be safe confirming earlier, but my method has worked perfectly for me.

So, ruble is stable today? Read that Russian Central Bank had to dramatically increase interest rates to keep it from falling.
12% fall in a day... Goddamn, wars were started for lesser reasons. :\

If for some reason you still want to use that, Source Engine games IIRC are able to run in text mode, so TF2/HL2 or whatever should be good.
But yeah, other methods are better/easier - especially with Idle Master automating everything.
