Assassin Creed games notoriously drop in price right after their release, for the holidays.
It has nothing to do with the quality or sales.

I'm pretty sure that Ubisoft proposes a toast at their Christmas party to all the suckers who pay $59 for it on release day.
Can't remember ever paying more then $40 for any AC game, including the first one and I have them all save for Rogue.

The framerate dropped heavily here pre-patch and it still does post-patch. You can't really notice it in the video though, I don't think. Either way, still feels 20-25ish fps.

Eeeeeew. 20-25 fps again. I hoped 25 fps at the worst but if it's still 20ish it's really disturbing.

yes it should download game updates

are you sure this is the case? i feel like most of the time there is a certain times of the day that it tries to update when idle. Most of the time i find when i come home, as soon as i boot my ps4 from idle, THEN it starts downloading the updates. If i leave it over night then it downloads it at some point. But they don't trigger to update as soon as its available, unless you have the console. on.

I am happy to be proven wrong.

Just finished the game. It's great. Only noticeable bug was that it crashed a few times but with how frequently it autosaves it didn't really matter, just a bit annoying.
