So what's everyone's #1 "no matter what I'm gonna buy this" game for this sale?

I already spent most of my meager budget (Yay prepaid credit cards as early christmas gifts) getting some good deals from a trader. But Invisible Inc, Halfway or Astebreed hitting $4.99 or less would be pretty tempting. Dark Souls at less than $5 too, since I've yet to play it and no more GFWL means its time.

hmph. You might call it australian english or whatever, but its all just commonweath english with a bit of accent, which is basically british english, or simply british, or simply english.

Real english folks, not that quasi american english

British English is newer than American English.

And Aussies make all sentences sound like a question? Because they raise their voice at the end?

Damn, Mark of the Ninja has a terrible drop rate for cards. 1 hour so far for 1 card.

Mark of the ninja is good enough that you should play the game

I 100%-ed it

worth every second

Errr... no lol

British English, or English, was first standardised in 1755 with A Dictionary of the English Language, by Samuel Johnson, whereas Webster's American Dictionary of the English Language was first published in 1828.

Super House Of Dead Ninjas... I have a gifting problem.

Oh for myself. Dynasty Warriors 8 if it gets the same deal or better as the last Sale. I really hope I didn't make a mistake waiting on that.

Nothing I'm getting for sure, but there are a couple indies I'm considering if they can match/beat their best prices so far... which will also guarantee they'll probably show up in bundles somewhere in the near future if I buy them.

At the very least I finally decided on a plan for the last hours of the auction that I'm satisfied with and lets me feel like I'm not losing too much money on it.

That's more an evolution of pronunciation than of spelling.

Technically English isn't standardised and is always changing, but to say that american english came before english is just ludicrous

I didn't say that, or meant it. What I mean is that American English has stayed more conservative than British English.

Just added Doorkickers from the humble site.

Up to 7 games. I have a remaining budget of about $60 for this giveaway, so I'm hoping to spread it around wisely.

And yet the loss of rhoticity in British English was a slow process and evolved over time, as can be seen in certain parts of southwestern England where rhoticity still exists, whereas Webster's overhaul of American English spelling was more drastic. When Webster first published his dictionary, there was a big hubbub about the changes being too radical.

I gotta get Ground Zeroes. If I can afford it. If it's not 15 or less (Which it probably won't be), I'll go for Dark Souls 2 or Game of Thrones. I want dark souls 2, but my girlfriend really wants GoT. Since it's christmas season and I can only afford one game (maybe), I'll get GoT.

Are you using idlemaster?

I am.

Ah, I see. Anything I should read on the subject?

I don't get the Ground Zeroes thing. I thought people felt cheated by it when it released on consoles, calling it a glorified demo.

I have a question about SteamGAF's GotY 2014 voting/poll thing.
1- When does the period for sending out nominated games, end?
2- We must PM MRORANGE with our choices correct?

It was going to be Kotor ii but I managed to snipe one from the auctions (muahaha *fist pump), so now I'm thinking about VC and/or trails in the sky due to steamgafs recommendations.

I'm not really sure lol. I'm certainly not an expert on the subject. I always joke in jest that Webster overhauled American English spelling because he couldn't spell, or he predicted the horrible spelling of today's youth.

Also I was born in China and learned American English, then moved to Singapore, which was a commonwealth and hence used British English, so I know a bit about both.

Debating random stuff on the internet is just a small pastime

Yeah but that was when it was 30 bucks. Nuuvem has it for 10 bucks now.

I think charging $40 at release was insulting, but $10 is a decent price. There are some games that go for more and have even less gameplay.

Thanks for the reminder for that restored content mod, not sure what m4-78 is though. Haven't gotten to it yet since I just started Kotor I a few days ago.

Edit: ah I see, mod that adds the planet m4-78, might just install it anyways

So what's everyone's #1 "no matter what I'm gonna buy this" game for this sale?

It was Shantae: Risky's Revenge. Then I won it in the auction.

Now, might be a three way tie between Elegy for a Dead World, Teslagrad, and Shippuden Ultimate 3. Unless Wreckfest gets a nice drop, too.
