The ADS spread vs hip fire spread on the SMG is ridiculous. What happened to ADS being cosmetic only 343i?

If Halo 5 works and MCC is still broken (I couldn't get into games earlier today but it was working tonight except that people keep quitting) then I'd appreciate being able to play Halo 5 now.

An extension of the beta is not adequate compensation for the MCC situation, but it would be a nice good will gesture. Plus it would help with the matchmaking times that people are having on these streams.

So I have two Xbox Ones, the main one is set as my home and preview, the other one is just standard. I redeemed the codes on my home console and installed it onto my external. Started playing on my other console then tried to get my brother to play on my home/preview console and it keeps saying "Unable to start the game for some reason". Any ideas? I'm playing the beta on a non-preview console so it's not locked to preview consoles.

Started getting into the game more as I went along. Still doesn't feel like a Halo game, but that doesn't mean it can't be enjoyable.

I'm getting a really good network performance with this game.. And I'm having all sorts of trouble with The Master Chief Collection.

I believe this is indeed running on dedicated servers. I live about 60 miles from a Azure Datacenter, so I get really good latency on it.

Tested it on another account and it worked fine. Maybe the second code is strictly one location no matter what the account/console is.

Also tested it on my account on my main xbox where I redeemed it and it still doesn't work :S

Really enjoying the game, but not sure how to ground pound. Is it right bumper while in air followed by B, right ?

so general impressions seem to be fun game but not very haloey so far? In that case I guess some of the old crowd will be aliented/lose interest but could end up pulling some new blood in too. Sounds good for 343 so far. after the mcc issues and the driveclub issues glad to see 343 and evo getting positive press.

Tried to pause the download and hit cancel by accident, and stopped it and now i am back to square one. I am heading to bed now before i break something.

Feels like halo...nothing else feels like this

groundpound is only a cheese mode...takes so long to use...only works if they don't see you

I hope I'm not the only one fighting these controls.

I actually like it. However, just like when I saw the initial leaked footage, the ADS ruins it for me, and I think it has a lot to do with why I kept feeling like I was fighting the controls. I just want the basic, classic schemes back with standard zoom function. Pressing the stick to use ADS really doesn't make it feel like ADS, but more of a clumsy zoom sort of like how Bioshock Infinite had zoom on the thumbstick as a default control despite technically having ADS, which I didn't like either. Bumper jumper had default stick zoom too, which really frustrates me. It's my main control scheme on most other Halo games where I don't focus on using AAs.

I really don't like ADS, even if it's a "cosmetic change". Seriously, if they just put standard scope back in I would be happy with what I'm seeing. I don't see any going back from it though.
