It's good to hear D4 is doing well. I can't buy it myself since I have no plans on buying a xbone, but i've done my best to shill to people who do have one.

The new Dragon Ball Z game actually looks pretty interesting, it's nice that they stopped trying to recapture the feel of BT3 or B3 and looks like it's going for its on thing.

And all the DLC for Hyrule Warriors is also awesome, I wish they added a higher difficulty setting though.

I'm eating an ice cream cone. Good job not shit posting. 6/10.

Dok, that's downloads not sales. D4 was on Games With Gold. It doesn't really mean much.
Something something fraudwil

Selector spread WIXOSS gets dark for a children's card game with heavy yuri overtones

Still need to watch that after watching Infected a month or two ago. Hopefully I get some answers to that first in media res at the very beginning of the show. I'm super curious of how we get to some of the things it's saying we'll get to.

Like what's her face white card becoming a giant monster.

It's a really interesting show to me. More than it probably should be.

Edit- Also yeah, no one should give a fuck about the card game. It's just a device to do whatever the fuck they want with the story.

Almost forgot you were the one to get me to watch it after talking about it on the reddit.

The only issue people have with it is that the card game isn't explained. But it's an anime about the story, rather than the card game

The card game was a huge part that turned me off.. just girls ramdomly playing card games and then that rules exposition really soured the series for me.

Anyone here played Pikmin 3? If so, what controller is best used to play it? Not really feeling the gamepad and the wiimote and nunchuck controls are different from Pikmin 1 and 2

i think it's neat to look at parts of games like that. When did it start, or did you always look at games like that?
It's something I've always done, all the way back to when I was first given a SNES, so when a game is complicated or technical and not that easy to figure out, I'm not prone to getting frustrated, I'm probably going to enjoy it more just because I want to figure it out and understand how they managed to add all this depth and so on and how I can get good at it.

The more involved and deep a game's mechanics, the more fun I have in trying to understand it, the only real exception to this are fighters, a lot of them out there have a ton of depth, but fighting games don't usually have any tangible progression, the progression is simply your skill in using what is there from the start.

While that's fun in it's own competitive way, I tend to get bored after awhile as you're just doing the same thing over and over and getting better at beating people, which means nothing to me as the game it's self, your character you play as etc. nothing about it is changing, so I eventually just can't care all that much about it.

The game clearly tells you when you reach the point of no return, then you get one of the most beautiful environments in the game shortly afterwards

The thing you're thinking of sort of happens, and it's pretty great

It doesn't get better in that regard, but there is an actual game if you're willing to learn to understand the turns.

So, you sort of developed it as a sort of different way to enjoy a game if a game wasn't as easily accessible in a certain aspect. Hmm..

Ah, so you prefer linear games or something with a somewhat definitive ending. Fighting games are not really everyone's cup of tea.

What my ideal game boils down to is basically the Sims with all the trimmings and bullshit it's suppose to have combined with the Souls series and then also online (With a touch of Morrowind).

That is absurd I know, but it's what I goddamn want.

Maybe he'll join Platinum and help work on Revengeance 2.

Revengeance 2 now with swery elements, like detective adventure game mode, beard growing tech, and coffee, all the coffee in the world.
It doesn't get better in that regard, but there is an actual game if you're willing to learn to understand the turns.

I'll try to ignore the cardgame aspect then.. and enjoy the other parts.

The bestest. Mostly because of how cute it is.

My ideal game...

Plays like Devil May Cry and Megaman X (dashes) with SMT artstyle, Souls lore, and an ending that makes me bounce up and down like a kid.

And you can win something while playing it

This man gets it.

Square enix is not allowed to touch it.
