Negatives
- Derp faces
- Combat system (wasn't a fan of the original)
- Wii U region lock!

Positives
- Everything else!

Looks incredible. But I have three niggles.
  1. Lip synch from hell.
  2. Default standing pose looks ridiculous.
  3. I hate Lin/Rin already.
Xenoblade also had no lip synching whatsoever. Takahashi don't care.

Lin is fine. No healer characters tho, so I'm afraid she'll be dead weight after a while.

Looks awesome really

Also, pre-load and Wii U bundle

I wonder when they will announce the release dates for the west

Oh man, I lost like, 2 or 3 minutes due to youtube playing like garbage here.

I need to go with niconico on these events =X

Anyway, seems great, interesting that there are enemies that run way faster than you.

Soundtrack seems good, monsters look super good, affinity chart seems better, and I hope someone can translate those quests to see if they are generic or not =X

Awesome. I only wish they'd show us the mech combat.

Anyone else think there is more than 5 zones? Seems to me they didn't show all of it? Lot of black space on that map.

Looks like there's a lot of fun features and gameplay elements going on here. I look forward to seeing all the gifs and reading the translations when I wake up.

This is what I need to know most. I would love to buy a WiiU with this already installed, for instance!! Looks beyond my expectations actually.

Like the original Xenoblade, this game seems almost TOO huge, especially with the amount of menus to navigate. Ideal for late teens and early twenty somethings with a lot of free time, but not so much for dads with young kids.

Not a dad but I know how you feel. Two things though - you don't have to 100% the game, there's a lot of side stuff you can not do; and secondly, you can just save the game for a few-month period where no games are coming out. That way you can beat it over a long period, an hour here or there, without a shorter game derailing you.

Also there has to be at least one other planet in the game, right? The game starts with an alien ship and as far as I'm aware you don't land on their planet. So, yah, I feel there will be more locations than they have shown us. However it already looks very impressive.

No combat gameplay again.

I start to think that combat part will be a disappointment.

If you've played the original Xenoblade, it's the same system with improvements/conveniences, like showing front/middle/back, and then there're Dolls, which I guess have their own arts.

Wow, they must have shown basically the whole game by now^^ Well, I'm not that hyped, anyway. Flying around and looking for hidden places seems fun, though.
But ewww, these shrill, infantile and over-acted voices in Japanese VAs are unbelievably painful for me nowadays. Will play in English. Same with FFXV, where Prompto's English VA sounds so much better compared to the Japanese one, even with the little we heard so far.

Seem like they are afraid to show combat system.
We've seen plenty of combat at E3. They even dropped like 2 minutes of just one battle last year at some Direct. Also its a pseudo-sequel and it plays similarly to Xenoblade.

They didn't go too story deep for this one. There are some locales from the second trailer that I didn't recognize in this one.
